Guests can enjoy the garden under the refreshing shade of the wisteria trees. The staff is available 24 hours a day and can help them to organise excursions in the surroundings, hire a car and book tickets for events. A bus stops right opposite the property and links with the nearest beach. Sorrento is 10 km away. Naples Capodichino Airport is around 40 km away.

We were here in September and in general I would say Vico Equense is a jewel in the crown of the Sorrento Coast. Only 2 stops from Sorrento on the train, easy access to Pompeii and Naples etc. The twon itself is small but lovely with plenty of Bars and restaurants and the scenery across the bay of Naples is simply outstanding. The Aequa is ideally located in the centre of town and close to the train station and has wonderful views of Mount Vesuvio and the bay of Napoli. The pool is excellent an.

Only a five minute walk from the train/bus station, which makes easy access to many tourist attractions, we also enjoyed the lovely hotel pool and gardens.. The public areas of the hotel were wonderful - especially the pool and outdoor seating area. The staff were exceptional. Close to the train station and town centre, and yet my room had an ocean view! Quiet and peaceful. The location is very good, the staff was excellent, the small town feel of Vico Equense was refreshing. The small town of Vico Equense was easily accessible by train or car and on the outskirts of the famed coastal drive to amalfi/positano. The view from our room was beautiful and overlooking the ocean and vesuvio. Beautiful big outdoor terrace, great big pool, colourful beautiful gardens. Breakfast was very meagre at times. It was served from 7.30 to 10am but we arrived down at 9.30 twice and there was little left and staff already clearing items away. My room was a bit dingy - it smelt of stale smoke, the decor was very dated and it looked like it could really benefit from a fresh coat of paint. The breakfast was not very good and the restaurant was over-priced. The blinds in one of our rooms was inoperable in the closed position for 3-4 days, blocking our view for a few days. We told a part was on order, but it was repaired as soon as we left the room. Car Park at 10 Euros. The hotel is massively outdated and in some disrepair. The beds were the worst of all our hotels in Italy. There is a bar, but the hotel receptionist has to double duty as the bartender so it's mildly awkward ordering your drinks at the front desk. You also have to drive to the next town over or to Sorrento to get to a decent beach. If you are driving, parking in difficult along the entire coast, make sure to put your mirrors in or lose them!. The hotel looks like it could do with paint and new carpets.
