Donatella and Stefano went out of their way to help us feel 'part of the family' Because we arrived late ( by taxi) and did not have a car ( which you need for this location) they took us to a regional cafe where we were introduced to the local fate.Stefano even drove us to the train station on our return to Venice to save us a taxi fare.Their service was personal, positive. They have bikes for riding the local bike paths. Walking into Vicenza from Il Melo B and B however, is not easy as the r.
όλα τα σχόλια » Our experience at Il Melo was exceptional. Donatella, the owner, was a delightful hostess. Her English was quite good, and she was so pleasant and so attentive to anything that we needed or wanted. Her breakfasts were excellent and included home made pastries and eggs! It’s rare to get eggs in an Italian hotel or B&B. The cottage we stayed in was charming, spotless, and comfortable. Having a kitchenette was a definite plus. Also, sitting in the garden was enjoyable after a busy day s. This is the best place to stay in the northern part of Italy. We were on a road trip visiting Verona, Vicenza and Venice. Vicenza was the most convenient one to stay to make the short trips to the nearby towns and the town itself is worth the visit. The country house is extremely nice, cozy and clean. Each room and cottage are designed in a special way that will certainly impress you! We simply did not want to leave the place. If you want to experience the real Italy - go to the country house. . We absolutely liked our 6 night stay in Il Melo. The owner is very nice and helpful. The pictures well represent what you can find. We had our small house which we loved. In the evening we were sitting out in our terrace. It was very calm and quiet. The owner did not say anything even if we had a late breakfast (which was a plus for us). It is a good place if you are with car and want to explore Veneto region. Vicenza city centre is 5-10 minutes by car, or around 40 minutes on foot. Thanks for. Il melo was far enough out of town to be quiet, but close enough to travel into for shopping, sight-seeing, catching public transport. Our stay was managed perfectly by Donatella, who was very helpful, courteous and friendly. We loved our visit here. Very friendly welcome and some excellent recommendations for local restaurants. The rooms were very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Whilst the location means you need a car it is in a great setting. Would definitely return. The manager at Il Melo, Donatella was super friendly and helpful. She showed us how everything worked in the cottage, and told us the places to see, eat, etc. I relaxing pleasant stay. Cottages were really comfy and very well equipped - best kitchen we have had. Nice and quiet area. Very complete breakfast Very friendly owner gave good tips on heading into Vicenza. Friendly & helpfull hostess. Nice & clean airconditioned rooms. OK breakfast ( a lot of plastic wrapped food though (biscuits, cookies etc.) few people ever try I guess. The lady who runs this is lovely. It is very pretty and close to the attractions around Vicenza without having to deal with the city traffic. Clean and comfortable. Everything! The couple was fabulous! The room was amazing! The bathroom & shower were fantastic! The bedding and furniture were terrifically good!. The whole B&B is quite romantic, the owner decorated the whole B&B in quite an artistic way. We shall stay there longer instead check-in late. I'm staying at this hotel for the fourth time I think. Everything is just perfectly suits me need s, the place, the service, perfect wifi, etc... It's like home away from home, very relaxing. Vicenza center is within 5 minute drive, must see. Lovely stay, great breakfast and enjoyed a bike ride to the centre of the town, which i got from the B&B. Very good facilities good self catering facilities helpful owners.Good location for touring. Everything was excelente. Daniela the owner is really nice. She recommended 2 good restaurants close to the B&B. We use the bicycles to go to town. We were offered a nice bottle of wine because we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. Nothing really. English of hostess is OK for explaining about the B&B, but but still susceptible of improvement, because having a conversation in English is a bit difficult. nothing! I could live here!. The check-in time and check-out time is bit different to ordinary hotel, please note. nothing can be wrong there.... Nothing really. I only suggest the Internet code to be written on a paper in our room. The open area were the gazebo is it is not great. There are to many thing going around. Need a car to go into town.
