  The rooms were beautiful and the tilework and decor were outstanding. The room with the large bed was great- but the twin beds were really too small for adults and the mattresses were too hard. The breakfast was spectacular. The staff was friendly and helpful and spoke some English. The location was great and the ambience was super. Good facilities.Interiors baroque and spacious. Internal courtyard pleasant for afternoon tea and drinks. Recommend patio to the left of entrance be used as evening drinks area as the view is great

  I stayed here twicw: once to visit Hadrian's Villa and returned 3 days later to visit Villa d'Este. I returned because the hotel is exceedingly convenient for visiting Hadrian's Villa and good for Villa d'Este. A large supermarket is located right next door to the hotel if you need any supplies.
