Palazzo Tasso offers uniquely decorated rooms with modern furnishings, free Wi-Fi and a private bathroom. This soundproofed Art Nouveau building is 150 metres from Piazza Tasso in Sorrento's historic centre. Rooms are air conditioned and come with a flat-screen satellite TV and minibar. Their bathroom is complete with toiletries and hairdryer. They also have a balcony, and some overlook Corso Italia. Breakfast is served every morning in the breakfast room on the top floor. It features wooden floors and bright contemporary furnishings. Staff at reception can recommend restaurants in the surroundings. Palazzo Tasso is a 10-minute walk from Sorrento Harbour and 500 metres from Sorrento Train Station. Its entrance is set on a small street that becomes a pedestrian area at night.

Let's start with the staff, they are so helpful and friendly. This hotel is located right on the main strip and close to restaurants, shoppes, the old town, etc.. It is very modern, clean and quiet (double paned doors block out most street noise). We had a balcony overlooking the Main Street that is closed to traffic every evening (pedestrian zone), we loved being a part of the action but if you prefer something a little quieter ask for a room on the other side of the hotel. όλα τα σχόλια » This was my favorite hotel stay on our trip to Italy. Pepe and his staff were the best; professional, super friendly, I can't say more to express how warm and helpful they were. We had a wonderful room. It had all the amenities we needed and a large bathroom. Breakfast was more than wonderful. The location was spot on, right in the middle of town. It's all you could want and need for a lovely stay in Sorrento. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was well appointed, very clean and a pleasure to be in. Although it was a tight fit for a family of four, it worked remarkably well. The balcony was onto the Corso Italia, and the double glazing kept it there when going to sleep. It is a B&B, but ideal for a base for Sorrento and the surrounding area. I would definately stay there again. Fantastic hotel. The location is fabulous and there is very little noise from outside. Decor is modern and fresh and includes tea/coffee making facilities. Bedroom was very spacious and bathroom too although shower is on the small side. Hotel staff very friendly and accommodating. Especially liked that our room was ready even though we arrived early so we could settle in straight away. The location was great and convenient to walk to both Marina Grande and Piccola, all the area along Corso Italia and easy strolling through the Old Town. We had to leave extra early 5.30am on check out day and the staff kindly gave us breakfast provisions to pack and take along with us. The staffs are very helpful and friendly. I was staying on the top of the building with a very big sky window, in the morning you can be waked up by the sun :D I think they are quite good presenting the term of "Sustainability". Although it was booked for a family of 4 it was a normal room with 2 extra beds placed in it. This was very tight and we could not manoeuvre easily in the room. Should really cater for a maximum of 3 people. Everything else was good in terms of cleanliness, bathroom and room facilities such as Wi-Fi, TV, kettle for tea and coffee. the lift is kind of slow, but it's fine. Despite being right off the main street, it was somewhat hard to find. I only had one night at the hotel. We liked everything. Location is very good but street is difficult to find especially if you go by car. These centric accommodation options should make an effort to simplify the arrival experience for their clients (e.g. explain that access to hotel is impossible by car, indicate the nearest parking, send someone to parking to help with luggage, etc). Small shower cubicle in standard room,. Our room was too small for a double. Had no room for luggage and no room to move around. This room should be for single only. The towels were not changed for the 4 nights we were there. It did not bother us but it is in a very central location in Sorrento, so there was street noise.... We had to change room for out last night but the staff did move everything we packed from one room to the next. The second room had a balcony which was good people watching on the stet but with a smaller and not as nice bathroom. The low ceiling in our room. A little pricey.......... no facilities or common areas. Too small and quite expensive. Room a tad too small. lack of electrical sockets absence of a bin in room (there was a small bin in shower room) only one mirror in bedroom which was in front of door to shower room. No place to sit and chill outside the bedrooms.
