We were there for a long weekend, racing at the Mugello circuit. The hotel is extremely well situated, a bus station just nearby the hotel to go to Florence and the scenery is splendid. Originally booked the mobile home units which did not suit our needs at all so we upgraded to a cabin which was perfect. The lady at the office was very helpful and a pleasure to talk to. The facilities at the site were spotless and the whole place is lovely. They have a restaurant with good food. There is a shuttle bus that will take you into

Lovely camping with great views to Florence. The mobile homes are small but enough for a couple. The camping is quiet so is great if you want to rest. Is only 10 minutes far by car from Florence.

The village of Fiesole at this time of year is peaceful and friendly. There are interesting buildings and archaeological remains. There is beautiful countryside around and some good walks, as well as breathtaking views of Florence.. There was a very good exhibition of modern sculpture in the main piazza. The transport into Florence is excellent -

This is a lovely old house in a very pretty town in the hills just outside Florence. Its quiet, friendly and comfortable, and the views are simply stunning. I thought this was really good value for money. You can catch a regular bus intot he centre of Florence from just down the road.

The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. They arranged for a car and driver to meet me at the airport and were able to answer all of my questions during my stay. A lovely warm welcome. Friendly and very helpful hostess. A gorgeous house and pleasant room. Regular buses down into Florence and up to Fiesole at the top of the hill. You can look down on the dome of Florence Cathedral in the distance while eating breakfast. Nice to be able to escape the bustle of the city in the evening.... -

The Bencista is a fabulous old villa up in the hills of Fiesole with
breathtaking views of Florence. It is a wonderful, quiet retreat from
long days of sight-seeing. It is a short walk to the bus stop to catch
the #7 bus into town (20 min) or a €25 cab ride (recommended for
luggage). We had good wi-fi in our room as well as around the building.

It is so quiet at night and cooler than Florence. Dinner on the terrazza overlooking Florence. The antique everything. What better than a stay in a Medici Villa for a visit to Florence! You can buy bus tickets right there and hike up to the road to catch a bus. Nice 20 min walk to Fiesole, or you can take the bus. Coffee on the Terrazza next to the Aurora Hotel in Fiesole is great too. There is no A/C but the large ceiling fan was sufficient. No TV, but who has time to watch tv with all the stu

Monica, who owns and manages Rosary Gardens, simply can not do enough
for her guests. This was my second stay at this hotel and it ranks one
of the best experiences ever. The hotel us clean, quiet and has more
than you could hope for, down to the magnifying mirrors in the

This hotel is a little gem! Beautiful English decor, very cosy and stylish. Little breakfast area with four tables; breakfast with a choice of breads, jams, eggs, cereals, fresh fruits etc. Our room was big enough for three and had all facilities we needed. The hotel is on the outside of Florence approx 4 km. of the city centre.
