We arrived at the hotel apartment around 6.30pm, an hour or so later than expected. I called the number of the hotel and a lady came to open up for us. Wonderful place with fantastic ambiance. Location is fantastic - 5 minutes on foot from 2 towers, lot of restaurants around. Our number was well-designed, with beautiful antique bureau and table and had (apart from the main window) - a little round nice window that made the ambiance in our room really magical! 2 beds were comfortable. Well positioned for walking into the centre. Also close to the walls for access to parking, and access, etc. Excellent help from the owners/staff, who spoke really good English. -
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was spotless. It also has a good location. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it as an excellent place to stay.

Great location right next to San Petronio and Neptune's Fountain. Excellent service. Cinzia at the reception helped me get a ticket to the opera which was totally sold out for a long time! Once you enter the hotel, everything you see is very modern and finished to the highest of standards. Breakfast was delicious and fresh. The staff, although some of them could have better English, were helpful. The receptionist even printed out a map for us with the directions to the closest bus stop for the Airport shuttle bus. Will definitely return to the hotel if I am in Bologna again.

We stayed 3 nights at San Petronio Vecchio, and it was a perfect base for exploring Bologna as most areas were within walkingdistance. Clean and comfortable rooms in great location - easy walking distance to all the sights. Very friendly and helpful owner - even made us tasty homemade brownies and brought in a big bowl of fresh fruit! Would highly recommend to friends and family.
