While crowds of tourists invade the area in August, you can find a peaceful and calm place at Il Borgo di Campi.
The panorama is magnificent.

I loved my stay at Il Borgo di Campi. My husband, my parents, and I
enjoyed two wonderful nights there last week. The views are unbelievable
and the little cottages are quaint and have everything one could need.
The restaurant was very tasty and not too pricey, and we really enjoyed
chatting with the server. This is a great place to relax and enjoy
breathtaking scenery, plus it was very easy to get down to Riomaggiore
from the hotel. We did not have any issues with the bus and tickets for

Location was great, we had a great view from our balcony, we were able to see whole Riomaggiore and its sweet houses. We didn't mind to climb lots of stairs to get there.

1. If you arrive by driving, then this bnb is a good choice because they can offer their own parking place, you can leave your car there and explore cinque terre on foot. ( Parking is a big problem in Cinque Terre.)

This little place is in the perfect spot if you are arriving into the Cinque Terre by car. Free car parking is provided which is a huge bonus here. We found the staff awesome, Francesca emailed very comprehensive information as soon as we booked and was fabulous to deal with on the front desk. There is no staff at the premises overnight so we were given a front door key. The room is perfectly adequate and had everything we needed. It fit our family VERY well. Large beds and the staff was very nice. The location was perfect for our touring and we were able to take our vehicle into Cinque Terre, which was nice as well. I'd go there again. All the rooms have a fantastic view! Inside the rooms the queen size beds were separated by a door from the other beds, nice to have some

Location just above Riomaggiore was unexpected, but turned out perfect with the mini-bus service across the road - would never have wanted to be driving all those steep, curvy, narrow roads.
Loved the beautiful views from the terrace with our room, especially the bright stars at night.
Staff was very nice and food was good.
I feel we "lucked out" with booking Due Gemelli!

everything. i didn't want to leave. i would recommend this place to anyone. it's run by some really friendly grandmas that made me feel right at home and it might have been because it was low season but i got an amazing two story apartment with an incredible view. the best location in cinque terre. do the full hike, enjoy! - Room and light breakfas

Arriving into Cinque Terre, Riomaggiore was a dramatic
Entrance. Beautiful coastal view directly from the train station. Hotel reception was on the main street called Via C. Colombo after walking through sidewalk tunnel. Walk up the steep street to find Roberto playing his piano and singing at the check in where you pick up room key. Very ftiend

It's nice experience to stay in one of cinque terra old houses with narrow and steep staircase along some alleys. The place is really clean though the building is old.

The giant balcony with the awesome view on the village was great, I would stay there forever. Nice little kitchenette. Close to everything, the room is so cute and cozy :) -
We had a great vacation at the Star fish. Beautiful terrace overlooking the town. The room was kept very clean and well supplied and the location was excellent.

Nice room, very clean. The staff was extremely friendly! - It was a good value for the money. The room was clean and very large. The receptionist came and found us as the hotel is difficult to find. Be aware that the street is really a narrow pedestrian walkway.

I am in full agreeance with the review from another traveller (Sandra: The staff were very helpful. They kept in contact via e mail to meet us for arrival. Tip .......take them up on this you would never find the room without their help. There are as expected a lot of hills and stairs pack light or you will have sore arms!! The location was beautiful right on the water, the sound of the ocean at night was very soothing. In all great spot to stay as a hub for exploration of the region.

The rooms of Alla Marina are elegantly remodeled and spotlessly clean in a centuries-old building. The owners are brothers and go way out of their way to be helpful. We were a bit unsure about staying/booking Banchi due to the lack of references, but it turns out to be over-think. Its totally worth the money, and we think its cheaper because its with less references now. The room we stayed at was newly renovated and spacious with its own shower. It was easy to find only around 10 min or less walk from the train station. We find the owner very friendly and adorable. Tip. we would suggest to give a specific arrival time frame to avoid waiting.
