  I loved Orvieto. It's quaint, quiet, and just beautiful. It's quintessential Italy.   Had a great room with a patio on the five floor. Great view. Very helpful friendly staff. The location is very close to the escalators going up to the main part of Perugia. Hotel has a pool which was a good way to cool off. - it is the best location... very near of the old center...

  Excellent location close to the center of Assisi and close to the impressive St Francis church. We stayed 4 nights and we liked it. Easy walking to the center with many good restaurants. We had a deluxe room with a view to the valley, which was fantastic. Breakfast was good with a good choice of products. We did not eat in the hotel restaurant, therefore no comments - It was an amazing experience staying at Giotto Hotel and Spa just minutes from St. Francis' Basilica. The staff and facilities at Giotto were terrific. The views from our room looking out over the hillside city of Assissi and the plain below are unforgettable. We enjoyed dinner at the hotel and it was exceptional and also unforgettable. Our waiter was terrific. Perfect in every way!!!
