I had a wonderful stay in Rocche Costamagna with my wife in Nov 2013. Got the famous Room No. 4 with 3 balconies (one is in the toilet!) and able to capture the stunning view over the Barolo valley. The view of the lake and island would overcome most shortcomings; however, there were none. We had a comfortable room, a nice balcony (overlooking the town, lake and island) and the staff, mostly one family, were helpful and friendly. The pool is a bonus. The distance from the village centre is just right - a brief stroll but far enough away.

Gorgeous villa with lovely gardens and pool overlooking Lake Maggiore. We had a very spacious room with a lake view and a spa. Good value for money.

Villa Margherita was very nice! We had a room with lake view but our whirlpool was broken, after mentioning this they upgraded us to the best room in the house, a beautiful large room with a huge wirlpool. The view of the lake was amazing! The balcony looks cute and it's nice to sit in the evening and enjoy the view.
Hotel was easy to find with gps and there were a lot of parking places by the hotel (for free).
We also loved the beautiful large garden, so nice to relax and very quiet.

The hotel was really a 4 star hotel. It is familly owned so we feel realy welcome. The room was like a suite, with precious wood on the flour. all is really clean. There is a elevator. It is close to a castle and no far from main road and Alba city.

Very well reconstructed villa, with indescribable views around. Very good designed rooms with good beds, showers and other furniture. Some of rooms (1 and 2) have their own terrace, some one for all. Good breakfast, very friendly and helpful stuff. Fast and good internet. Highly recommended.

The gourmet dishes served for dinner were very unique, excellent and reasonable in price. Congratulations to the chef and cooks for the marvelous dishes offered. Great place to unwind and relax, there are lots of green areas to walk around, the building and all general areas of the hotel are very spacious. Beautiful property with a great view over the countryside and villages. We had dinner at the restaurant with accompanying wines from their winery. Very nice! Be sure to try the winetasting as well.
