Very neat and clean apartment with great views of the lake and lovely, expansive grounds. Has all facilities for self-catering and 2 supermarkets within easy walking distance. Washing machine in basement with drying racks also very convenient. After staying in hotels with meals provided it was nice to cater for ourselves, plus cheaper too. -

... τι λέει ο κόσμος » erything! Francesca was wonderful. The apartments are very spacious and the views are incredible. The setting and the grounds are terrific and in the evening we would sit outside enjoying a bottle of wine and the spectacular setting.

We had a perfect, relaxing stay. The room was lovely and always very clean, the views from all windows/balcony were amazing, as were the views at breakfast and sitting by the pool. The pool was kept very clean and quite cool, but perfect for the hot weather. The gardens were gorgeous when we were there, the lavender everywhere was spectacular.

First of all - the way to the hotel is one of the beautiful ways I've ever drove in...it's a little bit far from Garda lake but worth the drive!!!

Luigi was really helpful. He didnt charge us the late check in fee and gave us extra blankets which we didn't even use because the room was really warm in that snowy Milano night. The space was a plus for us. Some of the household items were not working for eg. lights, hot water was not easily operated while bathing but these are minor squibbles for what is essentially a lovely house. -

The location of this hotel is fantastic, especially if you get one of the rooms at the front where you are right across from the 4th century basilica of San Lorenzo. The owner is exceedingly helpful. The rooms on the top floor (again at the front) are charming, what with the slanted ceiling underneath the roof. Wifi is fast and reliable. A couple of fine restaurants is nearby. For 99 euros per night, this is a great hotel in a city like Milan.
