Very central location for public transport during the day and restaurants during the evening. Clean apartment with very friendly staff. A little noisy as it is above a busy street, but room was double-glazed and air-conditioned. - Location was great . This is a beautiful old hotel high atop the Amalfi coast. The views are stunning and peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle of Amalfi. The hotel is clean and kind of a throwback to older times. Orsa Maggiore was a beautiful stop for us on our honeymoon. I would request a room Oceanside (beautiful sunsets). The rooms are clean and pretty, but here, you are paying for the views and a great design of a pool area! The staff are also all very nice and helpful! They made good dinner recommendations and always offered to shuttle you around the island (this is quite helpful if you know Capri) and the wifi connection is good. Also-the free breakfast is plentiful!

The front esk reception area personnel were outstanding and gave great service. I want to particularly site lia as most helpfull. Alphonse, Roberto, and Leonardo were very accommodating. The food service personnel did a terrific job including Ciro and Alphonse. They are added an immeasurable dimension to our stay. Please extend our thanks to them.

The hotel is located on a very scenic spot of Sorrento, on a cliff. My wife like the decoration and setting of the hotel, she ranked it the best hotel. This comment is not light considering we have traveled a lot over the past 30 years. The restaurant is one of the highlights of the hotel. They make gorgeous, delicious food at a very reasonable price. We stayed 5 days there and it was a very pleasant stay. Will recommend to anybody traveling to Sorrento.
