Ivan and Fabbiana are exceptional hosts - we were grateful to have such wonderful people welcome us to Sorrento. The staff is a reflection of the owners - Giovanni went out of his way to assist us with parking, traffic control while we parked, and carrying our bags to the hotel. I loved the warm, welcoming staff and Giovanni's delicious cappuccinos.
The breakfast was delicious, the location was smack dab in the center of everything, and the room was spacious and clean, clean, clean. If you're looking for a formal environment where staff doesn't speak unless spoken to, this isn't the place for you. Palazzo Montefusco feels like you're staying with old friends. We loved the location of this hidden gem! It is located in Forio, near the top of the mountain. We were nervous at first because the cab driver just kept saying "oh too far, very hard". We have chosen this hotel for our honeymoon in August 2013 from huge list of hotels on Ischia and as soon as we arrived we were SO glad of our choise. The hotel staff is very helpful and nice, the location is perfect - it's very quiet, but you can reach all the places and sights that you need (they have a free transfer to city and to the beach). Renting a car is a very good solution, but we didn't rent cause we were afraid of tricky roads on island.

We loved Luigi and his attentiveness to his guests. We were instantly impressed the minute we walked into the quaint property by the scent of cleanliness. We loved this hotel! We stayed in a one bedroom apartment for 2 nights, with fantastic views of the sea and small town below. The room was excellent and great value for money. The hotel has only been open for three months, so everything is fresh and new and to an excellent quality and standard. We didn't want to stay in the really busy tourist resorts in Sorrento or Amalfi, so this peaceful hillside location was perfect for us. The towns are a short drive away and Pompeii is less than an h
