We travel frequently and are discerning about facilities, however I have to say that this is probably the best hotel we have ever stayed in, except for a few minor problems due to the time of year, immediately after the New Year. - This is the loveliest hotel I have ever stayed in. Perfect hotel, very friendly staff, clean and very comfortable rooms, great breakfast, and warm pool. It takes some time (15 minutes) to reach the sea. But for us it was positive moment - it is so nice to have walk.

This was our fourth stay at this hotel. Our previous 3 stays occured during the years that the hotel was a JW Marriott. The hotel has been completed refurbished and it is beautiful. Amazing hotel, great location in the middle of all nice restaurants and shops.Very helpful front desk, they upgraded me due to a mistake in their system regarding my room preference. Consider rooms on 3rd and 4th floor for a great view, they are also renovated and very nicely furnished. Great breakfast. I will definitely come back.

The Poseidonia Mare has got to be one of the best kept secrets in all of Italy! We stayed at this hotel in mid September and at the end of the season so it was quite quiet. The room was superb with a balcony and a glimpse of the sea. The hotel itself showed attention to detail in every way. The breakfasts and evening meals were excellent and the staff could not have been more helpful. Antonietta and Giovanna were the perfect hosts from start to finish. Their staff including Nico, Diego and Paulo were always very polite, pleasant and extremely helpful. Orsa Maggiore was a beautiful stop for us on our honeymoon. I would request a room Oceanside (beautiful sunsets). The rooms are clean and pretty, but here, you are paying for the views and a great design of a pool area! The staff are also all very nice and helpful! They made good dinner recommendations and always offered to shuttle you around the island (this is quite helpful if you know Capri) and the wifi connection is good. Also-the free breakfast is plentiful!

Far enough from Sorrento to feel private, but close enough by bus to get downtown easily (10 minutes to walk to the bus stop/ another 10 minutes ride into town). The restaurant served the best
