The hotel grounds were amazing, and the pools were cleaned everyday, the breakfast was great eggs and bacon and delicious cakes. And the staff were great. -
Beautiful location and friendly staff. Lovely hotel and spa. Good buffet type breakfast. I come here regularly and enjoy it every time.

We were met at the reception by 'Gina' who was courteous and pleasant. We were offered a glass of proseco in the garden, taking in the view of Capri, while we waited for our room. The room had the wow factor and lived up to our expectations. The holiday just went uphill from there! Excellent Hotel. -

The staff at the Marincanto were just too amazing... Right from check-in .. To the lady who got the luggage to the room.. To the pool attendant Gianni ... To the front desk staff at check out...all super super hospitable..!! They went out of their way to make me feel at home..!!!
The location is perfect & just a short walk from the beach & shopping & restaurants ...
In short.... Total value for money...& I'm definitely staying at the Marincanto next time I'm in Positano..!

Our room was lovely with the sea view balcony. And it was not just any sea view, it was the fantastic blue Mediterranean with Vesuvius. One could have gazed it 24/7! The staff was incredibly friendly everywhere: reception, restaurant, bar, the cleaning ladies. Always with a big smile and a friendly comment. The hotel itself is lovely with its feeling of the old days but updated for today. Its location could not have been better with a view to dream of and a short way to everywhere in Sorrent

A very peaceful location in a busy town. This hotel has one of the best positions in Sorrento with fantastic sea views from it's superior rooms. The walk into Sorrento centre takes about 25 minutes but the buses are very cheap - about 1.5 Euros into town. The staff in this hotel deserves a special mention as they are so helpful and courteous. We had a large room with private balcony overlooking the sea. The hotel has many pools and activities, even a free kayak for guests. Room was very quiet with only the sound of waves at night.
