Heading to Sicily we stayed one night to Giardino di Ausonia. This property is located in a high area of the city of Reggio Calabria and offering fantastic views over the Straits of Messina. Its about a 10 minute drive from the center of Reggio Calabria as also from Villa San Giovanni.
Gabriel, the owner, is an extremely professional and educated man who does his job with a lot of passion! He was very helpful during our stay, as long as he advised for a quick tour of the city and a lovely place. όλα τα σχόλια »
Where do I start? This is one of the very best hotels we have ever stayed in. Perched high on top of a hill, looking down over the bay and Sicily, you can enjoy the most fantastic sunset imaginable. The hotel is wonderfully equipped and the manager and his wife are the most hospitable people you could ever hope to meet. The hotel was closed for two years because the access road was closed, and the owners deserve much better luck into the future. A truly brilliant experience! Yes it is out of to.

Keep your wits about you as you drive the hairpins up to the hotel and don't think, "I've gone too far", it is a long way up. Perhaps some direction signs would help!.
