A true five-star riviera hotel.
Good location just across the street from bagni and also close to the boat terminal to Portofino and 5terre.
The garden at the back of the hotel is truly outstanding. One can easily spend the whole day at the hotel without getting bored.
Great restaurant terrace with view to the sea. I did not try the pool but it also looked impressive.
Room design was lovely and service impeccable.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful and the personnel extremely helpful. The room, facilities, and hotel restaurants were great. The location was very close to shopping, restaurants, buses and trains. A great stay!! - the setting really is a full blown palace - and the staff are really down to earth, friendly, helpful and fun!

We loved both Santa Margherita & Hotel Metropole. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, we particularly enjoyed the pool area late in the afternoon and also returning from dinner at night and sitting out on the terrace with coffee and liqueurs. Superb breakfast included in the price. On our last morning we were leaving early and the the hotel made coffee for us and prepared breakfast packs for us to eat on the train, much appreciated. Very pleasant and helpful staff in this very modern hotel. Rooms are well appointed if a little starkly white and black in decor. Nice modern clean hotel with comfortable rooms. Excellent location next to train station, and close to the beach and port for boats to Portofino. Great staff that helped with our plans for exploring Cinque Terre. il Nostromo is a great restaurant in the street infront of the hotel (Tuna Tartar for appetizer, Pistachio crusted fish for main course and Tiramisu for dessert - Best meal of the trip).

the room was spectacular. we were given a room with a terrace right on the main square/harbor. the service was exceptional; the room was refreshed in the afternoon to look like new. everything was wonderful! - Location was fab, room very sweet - loved the balcony!!!! Staff were superb!!

Wonderful place to stay in Santa Margherita. Friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast, walking distance from sights and transportation. We stayed at the Hotel Argentina on 29 March. I made a mistake with the
booking dates but the staff were kind and sympathetic and sorted
everything out. The place was pleasantly informal but you got the idea

Hotel is fantastic!!!! They have 2 stars but it will be 4. Romms was clean up every day realy precisely. Breakfast was realy tasty. Staff is fantastic. Ovner is very friendly and helpful. To public beach is 50m(public beach is small but there is private beach which is beautyful and cost 20eur per day witch sunumbrella sunbed and towel). To Portofino is 15min by walk in beatufile forest with view to sea. This is fantastic place to stay-near to Portofino but not in noise city. Thank you for stay!

The familiarity of the manager, the choice of the room that pleased usthe most, a better room for the same price because I asked for a bath inmy reservation form. - Room comfortable, we missed breakfast on first morning cos I did not allow for time change.
