The best asset of this hotel is the staff who were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was very well-appointed and very comfortable. Breakfast was typically continental, with a lot to choose from. It was served in a fabulous baroque dining room. We wanted to explore the historic centre of Naples and this hotel is well-located to do so. After having spent time in Rome and the mountains of Italy, Naples is completely different. It's more dirty than the other cities we visited in Italy but the people are very warm and welcoming. Heed the warnings and do not travel with expensive jewelry. The scenery from the windows with a view of the port are beautiful.

As with any NH hotel, this property was wonderful! The staff was great, the property was modern, and the breakfast was fabulous! We were with my parents and their room was a bit small (sea view), but our city view room was fantastic. The apartment was huge, from the pictures you can not understand the actual size of the apartment. Upon check-in we were greeted with a welcome drink very fresh. We did not expect to find such a nice hotel in a building.

The area is very peaceful and quiet, we were really great.
Despite being at 4 spaces available to us were great.
The reception moved us to a bigger apartment than what we had booked and we were very happy about this.
Breakfast served in the room at the time chosen by us. All very well organized.

very nice modern hotel, convenient for the station as we were travelling by train on to Sorrento. Staff were lovely and very helpful, loved the area. The staff were extremely helpful. I had no problem with the language and they could all speak English. All staff were eager to please and offered excellent advice on where to eat and where to go to experience Napoli. The services offered were exceptional and I was treated as a special guest. that's an oasis in the centre os naples! we reached the hotel by foot from the central railway ctation - there was rubbish everywhere while we were going, but caracciolo appeared like a miracle)) by the way, naples has it's own charm and i like it, but the difference is enormous on the first sight)) -

We had a very pleasant stay. The lovely room was clean, spacious and quiet. This was an excellent hotel with accommodating staff who provided very helpful recommendations for restaurants (shalateli fresh pasta and very good meat and cakes). Excellent service , attentive and helpful but not intrusive. Wonderful breakfast and dinner - huge selection and high quality. Large rooms and pleasant common areas with wireless connection everywhere. I will definitely be staying at the Montespina the next time I'm in Napoli.

Don't be put off by the entrance. Behind the front door and up the elevator you will find a great B and B with a friendly, helpful owner in a great Naples location. A short walk to the Promenade along the water (even at night), close to an upscale shopping neighborhood but not a bad walk into the central historic district of Naples. Good value BandB.
