  We stayed only for a night but we will always remember this and surely will be back for a longer stay. The owner Marco made us feels like we are in home. He had made a reservation in the nearby osteria Orciaia for us and I must admit the food was really fantastic as well as the service!! It has been beautifully restored and maintained with comfortable amenities for guests. The owner and his staff were marvellous. We have never had a more pleasant, knowledgeable, hospitable and gracious host in our many travels. We felt privileged to enjoy his art, library, antiques and collections. In addition, his advice about local restaurants and places to visit was outstanding and we appreciated the help in making reservations as our Italian
