The reception staff: each member was friendly and helpful, with good local knowledge. They did all the phoning for my excursion to Porto di Traiano (Trajan's Port), a really interesting local archaeological site. Many thanks. My room: I had a south-facing room with balcony, overlooking the seafront. ! I couldn't have wanted more. The cost included a varied, plentiful and very Italian breakfast - not to everyone's taste, but hey, you're not in your home country anymore. Location: right on Ostia.

After all, you can't complain about the lack of American breakfast since in presentation is written Continental breakfast. They do have an elevator and minibar (empty but working proper) in room. They clean the room every day and change the shits at two days. There was a Shuttle had to come from the front of the hotel and pick the tourist for the Castel Romano Outlet. When the management of the hotel find out that this shuttle. Best thing about the hotel is the recepsion staff. They will solve any problem in the most polite fashion. Thank you guys! Otherwise hotel is everything you expect from hotel in european capital: clean, new, peaceful and tasty. The hotel is located perfectly, right on the beach, few meters from the Ostia center and the metro-station to Rome. 35 minutes to Rome's center. We liked it very much!. Enough cheap hotel. The location is great for getting to early flights at the airport and the beachy atmosphere is most pleasant in light of its proximity to the craziness of Rome. The hotel is clean, well-run, and a good value. If you want to life in comfort, near by sea and near by Roma, choose this hotel. Lovely place, excellent breakfast, kind and helpfull staff, free public beach near by hotel and 40 min till Roma with public transport. Public bus serviss till Fiumicino from Lido Ostia station. Great hote and appartment. The sea is across the road, free public beach in 200 meters. We had a huge porch of our own with the sea view. The room was not big but rather comfortable and clean. Very good stay in Lido di Ostia, would definitely choose it again. The Hotel and staff exceeded my expectations. They were so helpful with regards to assisting us to obtain information how to travel to and for Rome. Also increditably helpful to provide information regarding local facilities. The hotel is very close to Fiumicino International Airport, walking distance to many restaurants, very reasonable fee, wide room with terrace with ocean view, plus free parking for guest, this is really a good deal for us. Good hotel if you have an early flight out of the airport. Its right across from the beach so if the weather is nice it's definitely recommended to stay there (its also nice to wake up to the sound of the waves :). The location was situated near many fine restaurants, cafe's, and wine bars and public transportation was easily accessible. The complimentary breakfast was simple but very nice. friendly family run establishment Location was perfect not too close to the centre but close enough to walk there when we wanted to Hotel decor was 50's style but very charming. On sundays they close the road and there is lots of entertainment and a relaxed atmosphere. there is a great bar in town insolito;try it!. Everything is fine. The hotel is a bit dated and needs some refurbishment, which the owners' daughter acknowledged (she, by the way, was very hard-working and really helpful). However, for the price they charge, this was a minor issue. Don't like that we have to leave :). Subtle walls, but this is a common problem for Italian hotels. That we didn't stay longer, should have commuted to Rome to sight see from here rather than spending 4 awful days staying in and wandering around the city! Can't rate this place high enough!. The elevator is just dreadful. Extremely tiny and almost impossible to get into and out of. An old claptrap which must be replaced. i like everything. Nothing at all apart from leaving. I was satisfied with every aspect of the Hotel. No lifts available throughout the hotel; and I actually needed to ask twice for the reception man to carry our luggage (should be offered without me having to ask!) Other than that, no complaints!. The rooms were quite small and pillows hard. no elevator and we were on the top floor with 6 ramps of stairs to climb The hotel did not have a porter to carry our bags. No BBC News channel (or any channel in English) but France 24 was available. pickpockets in Rome; got done twice!. Only one thing - there is no lift! We had to carry our heavy luggage to the third floor. We couldn't afford a longer stay. The hotel was NOT noisy, but we can hear every step and every word from the corridor or from the other rooms. The shower could be better. But this were only minor issues, we were very satisfied. Nothing, suited our purpose. nothing. The breakfast was a bit grim from an English point. The hotel manager was recommending some restaurent nearby and did not encourage us to have food at the hotel restaurent. Breakfast room very spartan, drinks from disposable plastic cups (not really upper class). mm, nothing). Nothing except it would have been easier for us if the restaurant menu had some English translations. Everything was ok. Shower was very small. There's no elevator so you have to carry up your luggage yourself to the room. Internet wifi was available only at the reception area. If your target is Rome and historic places you have to drive a long distant from the hotel. More fruit at breakfast buffet would be nice. breakfast - limited vegetarian food. Slight walk to public beach/town centre/station. Internet was free but not good. Was not able to log in at all the 2nd day. The room was not ready upon arrival. The wifi did not work in the hotel room, only the lobby!. Cramped bathroom. It was not clean on the terrace. shower too small. Bad air-conditioner, there is no russian tv-programm.
