  excellent location, 5m to the metro station and at least 8 buses surrounding. The staffs were very nice and kind. They gave you many useful information for which you are looking.   The fact that it's near the railway station but not one of the railway station hotels. It's hidden away, very quiet and has a fantastic elevator and outside sitting space. The staff is friendly, funny and genuinely nice. Also there is a solo rehearsal hall on the ground floor, so where else can you hear excellent live opera arias while having coff... τι λέει ο κόσμος » ee "at home" on the altana? You try sitting way up high on a deck in Rome listening to "Vissi D'arte". That alone was worth the price. And if the gove - The location was great. Within a 5-10 minute walk from the train station. The daytime desk manager was fantastic! He was so helpful with what to do and where to go. I even walked from the hotel to the Forum and Colosseum. Took about 20 minutes but not a bad walk. Hotel is also close to great shopping and restaurants. There is a little pizza place down the street that serves pizza and a drink for 3.50 Euros! I would stay here again!!

  The staff is nice and will make you feel welcome. The rooms are OK. It's a 5 minute walk from Termini train station and city centre is not far away. Breakfast is decent. I would say it's expensive for what you get, but in fact it's very good value for money for a place like Rome. I was glad I stayed there. - The place was clean, well located.
