The suite we rented was really big. The amount of space gave a really luxury feel.
The appartment itself (1314) was quite funny. It probably used to be very hip and trendy back in the '80s, now it's a bit worn and outdated. But it doesn't take away the comfort. Actually some of the furniture may be really expensive nowadays. True 80s design!

Hotel Romano is exactly what I expected - a cheap hotel near the train
station. It is only about 2 minutes from platform to hotel lobby. The
sights in the central part of town are a very easy 15 minute walk or so.
The hotel is managed by a Chinese family who are nice and accommodating.
The room was basic but quite large, adequately appointed (minus a
fridge) and warm in December.

Paolo was exceptionally personable and fun. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom very large and had a great jetted shower. Breakfast was nice and the rest of the staff were accommodating. The staff is great. Any question I asked I got the answer. Breakfast is very good. Coffee is fabulous. The location is good because it is about 3-5 minutes walking from Porta Nuova railway station. If you travel somewhere it is very convinient. The bus from the Torino airport stops also close from the hotel.
