  Small boutique hotel with Italian Renaissance decor. Updated bathrooms, though small by American standards, had many unique features not usually seen in hotels in the usa. The rooms at the Celio were charming, clean and the location between the Colosseo and Laterano was fabulous. This was the first time we have ventured out of the Trevi/Tritone area.   Nice owner, Claudio will try his best for you to feel most comfortable. The place is located between the Roma Termini and Colosseum, so location is great! He got us breakfast tickets for cafe downnstairs so we were free from timetables. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

Beautiful place, spacious room, very high ceilings, we could see few historical buildings right from the window. Room was warm with a big bed. Location is absolutely amazing. Colosseo around the corner, we literally walked everywhere (even returned from Vatican by foot ). Breakfast was brought into the room on your selected time. We really enjoyed to stay there. If I go to Rome again I'll stay there again.
