One of the best hostels I've stayed at. Check in was simple, and the people were very kind. It's a huge hostel/hotel so it doesn't have the general "hostel atmosphere" in main areas, but I stayed in a female dorm with 5 other girls, and made instant friends! The staff we're nice and obliging. 24 hour reception and no curfew. The rooms were great and kept quite tidy. Bathrooms were kept very clean which was nice. Free wi-fi was awesome. If you want to spend your last day exploring- you can leave your bags at the hotel and pick them up later so you don't have to take them around with you all day. Hotel Marine is located just 5 minutes walk from the main train station in Florence. The rooms are large, clean, are in buildings that are hundreds of years old and have great character! Air conditioning works! We walked to most of the major landmarks like. Il Duomo, Ponte Vecchio and the Pantheon. The desk staff was very friendly and helpful. They gave us an extra room when they had a vacancy next to ours for no extra charge. They provided the BEST breakfast buffet!

Cosy room, clean bathroom, good working wi-fi, nobody disturbed us, we've got a feeling that we are stay in house of our friend=)
A great advantage of this hotel is possibility to chek-in in the morning.
Ghonatan,which works there, was very polite and pleasant man.
