  Very nice location on the hill, private parking, nice view of Florence from the hotel (although not from our room), nice old villa. Bus stop for bus number 7 that goes into the city centre is about 350m from the hotel down the hill, busses pass by every 20 minutes (less than 10minute ride with a buss)

  We booked a suite, but on viewing the room it was not suitable for us for personal reasons. We mentioned this to the hotel manager who without hesitation offered us another suite which was superb.   We stayed at this hotel for two nights during our honeymoon. The room was beautiful and very clean although can get very loud at night, must sleep with the window and shutters closed to avoid this.   The hotel is only a 15/20 min walk from the town centre but if you wantto you can take the bus which runs pretty often. The staff are politeand very helpfull and you get a fantastic sellection of food forbreakfast.
