Its location was central to the train station, ideal for all site seeing. Edo and Vary were most welcoming and helpful; quite effusive hosts. We enjoyed their company. The location was great. Very close to Ponte Vecchio and direct access to the city centre. What a unique experience that to stay at Villa Agape for a fantastic
introduction to Florence. Its peaceful and wonderfully attractive

The grounds are gorgeous, rooms comfotable and meals generous. I don't speak a word of Italian but still managed to communicate well enough with the sisters. It's nice to end the day of seeing Florence's sights with an evening here - stay for a dinner one night too. The bus into town is about 10min walk - so take a taxi there from station (about 12euro) if you've got baggage then jump on the bus the other days. I loved it here.

We upgraded our room for a (discounted) 35 Euros per night. We stayed in "The Tower" which was a room on 3 floors with an old stone winding staircase. It was incredible. The top floor (the bedroom) had 360 degree views of Florence for miles. Very romantic and very comfortable.

Absolutely wonderful hotel right in centre of old Florence. Everything you would want to see is just a short pleasant walk away. Our deluxe room was very big, clean and comfortable with a frame bed and huge couch. The breakfast is amazing with a huge selection of dishes. The staff are all very friendly, efficient and helpful. The breakfast staff even remember what you like and bring it without asking. My wife and I stayed for six nights and would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

This is a delightful property. It s an old water mill that has been lovingly and tastefully restored and is now a superb boutique hotel on the banks of the river very close to Florence. We enjoyed everything about our stay at the Villa Tolomei. We had a junior suite with a fabulous view over the Tuscan countryside. Our room was vast and very luxurious. The hotel resort is a mix of both, renaissance and modern architecture. It is a wonderful jewel as a villa hotel resort. Beautiful high ceiling rooms with beautiful fresc, well designed for amalgamating both the old (restored professionnaly) and a sort of modern renaissance. Will definitely go back, the view and the Tuscany sunsets are unbelievable.
