  Maisons du Lac was the perfect place for our family of 5 to stay while visiting the Lake Garda area. Flavia was a joy to work with and gave us excellent recommendations for non-touristy restaurants within easy walking distance, as well as a convenience store nearby.   We loved the location of the hotel and the area it was in. The rooms are very comfortable and the most clean hotel weve ever stayed in and Im a clean freak. The pool was great and atmosphere good. We could not recommend this hotel highly enough. Its meant to be 3* but this is definately a 4* hotel or close to 5* in European standards.   Good location, very near the lake and historic part of Desenzano. Interesting building, nice room. Being there in winter, I was the only guest, but the hosts were accomodating. During breakfast Alessandro told me about the interesting things placed around their kitchen (artifacts, etc) from the area, which was great. They speak very little English... τι λέει ο κόσμος » , and I speak very little Italian, but they certainly did their best to work with me. - Everything was excellent! The house is great, in the city center, near the river, near the market place. The staff is friendly and very helpful, the breakfast extensive and tasty. Loved the place!!!

It was perfect.
