  The room was beautiful. The moment we walked in the door it felt like a quaint welcoming inn. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We hated to leave. Could have spent much more time there.   Tavernier Hotel is easily the most comfortable and friendly hotel I've stayed in Courmayeur. The staff were extremely helpful with logistics and with restaurant bookings in the town. The location is perfect for the Dolonne gondola to the slopes and is a short walk into the town.   The service by the staff was excellent. Very friendly and supportive. All our small extra requests were taken care of. Very good info about the village and where to go.
