The staff were extremely helpful and sympathetic. We had a small problem with a key, and they were eager to sort it out very quickly. The rooms are airy and comfortable (we stayed in 2 different ones on separate nights), and we were given a quiet one at the back when we asked for one. Very central, 2 mins away from piazza Duomo and Via Etnea and 5 mins
away from the market. Less than 10 mins from the port. It has a private
parking shared with the rest of the gated community which seemed to be
safe. The guesthouse has a lift as well and it was very good considering
the cheap price we payed. Wifi was also available, italian breakfast in
room and with a balcony for the street view. Very worth it if you're
not looking for luxury but the basics you need

At the arrival not so sure about this place.
Once we met the owner (Manuela) it became "the peaceful oasis". Food/advice/information = ONLY the best from Manuela!

As soon as you get into the hotel you will feel like home!with a lot of privacy. You don't rent just a room but the entire structure. Nice and curate spaces, with style and design. Front desk always helpfull, gives you a lot of tips of where to go and to do in Catania and surroundings. The stucture is located just few steps from the city centre. T

The hotel is on the third floor of an older building with no elevator. However, the staff will help you with taking the luggage up and down the stairs. The hotel is situated in a little seedy area near the fish market. However, once you walk pass these 1-2 blocks, you are at the Elephant fountain and the Duomo so the location to the sights is great. There are lots of good seafood restaurants nearby.

The best situation for your staying in Catania. The city park, bus stop, the main street in near. This BB has a central location [2 min from Piazza Duomo], really close to public transportation [Piazza Alcala] and via Etnea [wich is one of the main streets in Catania]. The BB is clean and comfy. The owners, Giovanni and his mother [who lives next door] are nice people. The palazzo in which the BB is located it's a bit noisy, but this is Sicilly. Overall, I was pleased with the place and I recomend it.

It was more than what we expected. The owner Vito was amazing! Kind, always there when needed, offering us info. The B&B looks exactly like in the pictures. Very central, room was fine with a great old ceiling, choice of breakfast in the B&B or in the bar just down the road: we chose the bar for the fun of it!
The lift is a typical old Italian lift with small benches upholstered in red velvet to take up two floors in style ;-) -

The host Michele went out of his way to be helpful. He even picked us up from the bus station which was great as Catania is big and busy. The b and b is very secure and in a great central location just off the main street Via Etnea. Though he does not speak much English, he has a helper who does and who greeted us. There are only four rooms here, so it is quiet most of the time.
