The 3-star Albergo Miramare offers a seafront location in the town of Castiglioncello, only 400 metres from the train station. It features sea views from both its furnished terrace and its wine bar. The hotel is set in a historic Art-Nouveau building, where famous people such as Churchill, Pirandello or Marta Abba have stayed. Rooms are simply furnished and come with a desk, TV and fan. Some rooms overlook the garden and some feature a sea view. Restaurant Miramare opens during the summer season for dinner and serves traditional Tuscan cuisine and classic Italian dishes. Guests can enjoy aperitif and wine on the terrace, watching the sea and listening to music. Art exhibitions are open here from June until September. The Miramare is 300 metres from a bus stop linking with Livorno. Rosignano Marittimo and the exit of the A12 motorway are both a 15-minute drive away.

The hotel is a historic building: it was founded in 1912 and is still managed by the family of founders. It makes it a realy nice and friendly place: owner himself and staff are always ready to help you in any way. Sea view from uor window was just amazing, and a park just behind the hotel walls was a pleasant surprise. Interiors are nice and there are many beautiful old things around for those who loves historical stuff. Last but not least, it's only 10 minutes by foot from the railway station.
