It was an apartment, redesigned by the owner, with very good taste. Everything we can think of was available for us in the house. He and his wife were very helpfull and friendly, and he has a shop right below, so you can find him easily.
The house was very clean, the fridge filled with food - even a bottle of wine - and it is quite near to the historic centre of Alghero (5 min walk). Parking can be tricky, but at the right time of day you can park freely right on the front of the building.

The room was very large and comfortable. The facilities were superb. The fridge was fully laden with water cheese ham yogurts milk cold drinks, and the cupboard was stacked with bread croissants cutlery tea coffee. More than enough. We had a fine balcony and although it overlooked the street, it was nice to be able to sit out and enjoy a tea time drink. It is centrally located only 2 minutes walk from the front and the old town. Couldn't fault it.
Mario and Eugenia went out of their way to make our stay good. The
apartment is great, very large, super clean with every extra, even a
real hair dryer! They left us plenty of decent towels and diy breakfast
foods, fruit juices, ham, cheese, fruit, even wine! Mario gave us plenty
of information about local restaurants, etc. and was available in the
nearby shop if we needed him.
Large clean room within walking distance of the old town, bars and restaurants. Modern bathroom with good shower. Very friendly and helpful owners. Breakfast provided in the room - ham, cheese bread, milk, water, fruit etc. also hairdrier, beach umbrellas, plenty of towels and washing powder also clothes line and pegs on small balcony.
The owner was great and bent over backwards to see that or comfort and needs were being met. The fully stocked breakfast bar was a great way to start the day too...the place is only a couple minutes walk to the downtown area..it was agreat place to start our Italian vacation.
Roomy and private apartment, fairly well equipped. Breakfast provided via a well-stocked fridge and pantry. Nice coffee too. Clean. Close to the old city centre and small shops. Friendly proprietor. Airconditioned.
Very friendly owner. Gave us a lot of tips of what to see, where to go. Perfect location, less than 5 min walk from everywhere. Very well prepared flat: towels, fruits, yogurt, plenty of tea and coffee.
The place is located close to the city centre, but it is a quite zone, free of noise. The staff was really kind and helpful, and the facilities were renewed and very clean and comfortable.
The apartment size was great as was location. Breakfast was self cateing but there was plenty of food and a great variety.

The very hard bed! It is the only thing that wasn't

Parking sometimes a problem as we visited in peak time.
Very limited English spoken by the owners so communication was a bit difficult.
Disposable plastic plates, cups and cutlery provided as no sink for washing up. It was a bit like camping but you soon get used to it!.
No problems with this location. Highly recommend it to travelers headed to Alghero...Mario was awesome.
The view from the apartment is so-so. The bed is a bit hard. The pantry not safe for children (very sharp edges).

very hard to locate, no sign at all, nothing on wall or door bell. Frustrating. At far end of street near paizza, v limited parking, largely paid. One way street.
