Linden Hall is a guesthouse located in the centre of Westport, less than a 5-minute walk from Westport Train and Bus Station. It offers rooms with TVs, free Wi-Fi and free parking. All rooms at Linden Hall have hairdryers and tea/coffee making facilities. There is a selection of continental and cooked breakfasts served daily and packed lunches are also available. Matt Molloys and The Porter House are both within a 5-minute walk and have live traditional Irish music every night. There are many excellent restaurants in Westport, most serving seafood. Staff can advise and make dinner reservations for guests. Staff can provide walking maps for local attractions including Westport House, Achill Island and Croagh Patrick. Westport has several leisure centres with indoor pools, hot tubs and fitness suites. There is also a cinema in the town centre.

We were very impressed with the guy who checked us in (unfort cannot remember his name). The room was lovely and we were given a family room with 2 double beds which was great and a wide screen tv which was great, tea making facilities in the room which did not exprect from a b&b and the shower was best ever. After we had left the b&b we got a call from the owner about a disturbance during the night and had if affected our stay, even though it hadn't he offered us a discounted stay on o.
όλα τα σχόλια » We were offered tea and coffee on our arrival by a very friendly member of staff. We booked a twin room as I was travelling with my friend and her young child. When booking it said that the twin room had a double and single bed in it which was perfect for us. however when we were shown to our room, we had a double bed each. the room was perfect for us as it appeared we had the luxury of a family room. Great tea and coffee factilities in the room along with a flat screen tv and power shower in t. Can not recommend this b&b highly enough. We we're offered a cup of tea on arrival, the owner Paul was so welcoming and friendly and even gave us spare tickets he had for a boat trip. The room was beautiful, really clean with great views and the location was only a stones throw from the town and short drive from the coast. In the morning we we're served up a lovely breakfast. We decided to stay another night, unfortunately linden hall was full but Paul helped us find a room elsewhere. Great. Huge room just for two people - split into two rooms with a queen bed one side and a double and king single the other. This would be perfect for a family or a group of two couples. Reasonable price and lovely service. Nothing was an issue. Very clean, decent sized bathrooom compared to other BnBs in Ireland. Not in the centre as such however just a few minutes walk to the main strip and it made it both quiet and easy to access. Great stay!. Linden Hall is a lovely B&B. Our room was spacious and clean. And we loved Paul, the manager! He was so friendly and so helpful. Everyday he would make us tea and recommend various points of interest. He also was terrific in his restaurant suggestions and would make reservations for us. The location was perfect. We could walk to everywhere in Westport. We loved it!. Staff - Paul, the host, is excellent. Very helpful, without being too in-your-face. He makes a first class breakfast too. Clean and tidy, with spacious rooms. Excellent location for access to the town but far enough out to be quiet. Easy to find and has off-(main) road parking. Highly recommended if you're after a B&B in Westport. We liked everything and it was a great sized room in a very convenient location with loads of free parking, at least I think it was free....no parking fine anyhow! Paul is a star too and he left us a big bucket of ice for our bottle of bubbly....we were celebrating our anniversary. Breakfast was lovely as well. Lovely B&B. Great location for walking to city centre, very clean with lots of elegance and charm. Maria is a very gracious host and Paul worked very hard to make our stay perfect. When we return to Westport we'll defiantly stay at Linden Hall B&B again. Thank you, Jan & Rich Langen (California). Very accessible; central in Westport town. Surprisingly easy parking for a small town. Great room; very comfortable king-size bed. Good breakfast selection; great made-to-order food. Owners were very accommodating and friendly. PC for public use. The location is great and staff very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The en suite room we stayed in was very decent and nice and quiet and was also very clean and had good facilities. We would consider staying here again in the future. Paul was very friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was great and plentiful. The location was very close to the town centre but yet far enough to get a good night sleep. The room was large and spacious with a very comfortable bed. We really enjoyed our short stay in Linden Hall. Will use again the next time we are in Westport. the fact it was very good vaule for money and very close to westport town. great spot will b back.and paul who greeted us was very nice and helpful. and u got well looked after with a good breakfast in the morning. Very comfortable room, clean , comfortable beds and large tv. The staff were very friendly and helpful, carrying our heavy bags, and providing helpful suggestions and information. Will definitely stay here again. Great staff, yeasty breakfasts and a location walking distance to town, bus stop and rail station. Bike shop for the Great Western Greenway is literally right across the street. Wish we had stayed longer. Being greeted by Paul on arrival with his welcoming manor was very nice, the place was very clean and very comfortable, Paul takes and excellent care and attention and cooks a mean breakfast :-). Warm welcome by hosts and spotlessly clean, attractive rooms. Great location. Very good breakfast with many choices. Close to train station and just 5 minutes to town center. Good friendly welcome from paul nothing to much trouble , a lovely comfy en-suite room and fine breakfast, with hot and cold choices. and pauls ample local knowledge. Everything-the welcome, food, room etc. We arrived back very cold one day and the manager, not sure of his name, made us coffee with biscuits..really thoughtful. Staff were really friendly couldn't do enough to help. breakfast was varied and very tasty. Rooms were large and very clean . Also very central to the town. The bonus of off road parking and large Georgian windows to look out onto the city. Our host Paul (I believe that's what he said) was extremely attentive. Spacious room, breakfast was perfect! Just a few meters into the city center. We had cold days but furtunately the heating was good. Thanks to Paul :). The owner Paul was extremely welcoming and helpful. Considering he is a one man team he does a remarkable job (especially the very tasty breakfasts). He brought tea up to our room when we arrived - nicest man!. friendly with good local information from hostess.great food and night engagement.westport greenway was excellent. Paul was very friendly and courteous when we met at the front door, only 5 mins walk away from everything,. Spotless , excellent service, staff very helpful and beautifully presented tasty breakfast. The matresses could be more comfortable, the beds we stayed in were a little lumpy. It would be nice to have more vegetarian options for breakfast. the shower was very small. thats the only thing i could have fault with. Breakfast was nice but room for improvement eg fresh fruit instead of tinned fruit. Be prepared to climb stairs. my friends Tom and Holly said their room was a little shabby and in need of some refurb'. Only compalint was that the pillows were too hard for me but that's a personal preference. Overall, we had a very good experience. The pillows. Had no complaints. Had some noise with kids walking the street until around midnight. the third flight of stairs!!!. Nothing. kids hooting car horns in the middle of the night, but thats not Paul the owners fault. The place next door had a gate that kept slamming. Although this was out of the control of Linden Hall it was the only bad thing about staying there. nothing. tiny shower in room.
