This family-run B&B is set in a 19th-century townhouse next to Cork Rail Station and just 10 minutes’ walk from Cork’s centre. It provides rooms with en suite bathrooms, full Irish breakfasts, and homemade bread. Each of the light and elegant rooms features free Wi-Fi, along with a TV and free tea and coffee in the room. Hairdryers are also available, along with an in-room safe. A breakfast menu is available each day, with a choice of continental and vegetarian breakfasts alongside hearty, cooked breakfasts. Cork’s famous English Market is a 20-minute walk away, along with the Paul Street and Merchants Quay shopping centres. Cork Opera House can be reached in 15 minutes on foot and St Finn Barr’s Cathedral is a 30-minute walk. A frequent shuttle service operates between the Railway Station and Cork Airport.

We recently had a great stay at Kent House. Lorraine & John are the perfect hosts. Lorraine was so helpful with suggestions on where to go and how to get there. Our bed and bathrooms were spacious and breakfast was delicious. We were made to feel part of the family. We had a great experience and will definitely stay at Kent house if we go back to Ireland. Will definitely recommend this B&B to people. Thanks for a wonderful stay they were the perfect hosts.

Our room was generous and light and the bathroom light and bright with good towels. It was the only bedroom on our trip that had a powerboard close to a mirror and a writing table which meant you could plug in your computer, recharge your mobile and use the hair-straightener at the same time!. The room and en suite bathroom were large and well decorated. Minutes from the train (Cobh) and bus (Kinsale) stns. Owners were very friendly and eager to make our stay perfect!. Good location, only a few minutes walk to the city centre. Owners were very friendly and the room was spacious. A well run spot. Would recommend this place to others. Very enjoyable stay, deserves it's high rating, excellent value for money, spacious comfortable room and a very large well finished En suite, we will be back. Friendly owners,great atmosphere. It wasn't too far of a walk to city center. The hotel is on the way OUT of town --- we were originally told it was on the way in!! It backs onto the main train station which could be a problem for some. However, with double glazing and block-out curtains it didn't bother us at all, we actually found this rather amusing. It is a good 15-20 minute walk right into the centre of the shopping precinct. nothing. Had nothing to complain about from our stay. Nothing the Guest House can do due to space constraints, but one has to park on the street or in the Train Station, incurring additional expense. Nothing. Hot chocolate in the room would have been nice, apart from that -nothing. Nothing. nothing.
