  The staff are very friendly and helpful. They drove me around to see rice terrace and the special coffee farm. Second, it's a family house. U live in the backyard of their own houses and family temple. If u've read Eat Pray Love before, that's the dream place to enjoy special culture of Bali. The accommodation is new and clean, very close to the palace but also very quite and nice. A perfect value for money!

  I stayed in this homestay in Feb 2013. The owner tells me it is two months old. The owner speaks excellent English and is very friendly and down-to-earth. He taught me how to tie the sarong the Balinese way (with a spiral tail falling in front). The location is excellent; about two minutes walk to the Ubud Palace (where you can watch Balinese danc... τι λέει ο κόσμος » es at night), Tourist Information Centre and Ubud Market (Pasar Ubud). This is a good starting location to soak in the culture and beauty of Ubud. The - It is a really nice place and I highly recommend it to people who look for a simple and cheap but at the same time nice and clean place. Unique Homestay is very new and clean especially if I compare it to a place for the same price I stayed before in Ubud. The rooms are decorated in a pretty way and there is hot water. Breakfast is nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. The owner provided us (always when we needed) with a car for a honest price and friendly English-speaking driver.
