The location of the Indigo Villas is amazing - in the middle of the rice paddies, in a very quiet area. The rooms themselves were also amazing - not so much in terms of traditional comfort (although that was fine too), but mostly because of the special design of the rooms and the furniture, all quite unique. The Villas also provided free transportation to and from Ubud, which was great because it's about a 20 min walk from the city. There's restaurants in that area though, so one could easily h.
όλα τα σχόλια » Indigo Villas is just beautiful: we stayed in the Honeymoon Room, and it was comfortable and romantic. The staff are all wonderful, helpful, and very friendly. This is a much more intimate, "boutique" experience than staying in a huge hotel or locked away in a private villa. Breakfasts were delicious, and the horizon pool spectacular. Although Indigo is a 10-15 minute drive from Ubud town, free transit with reliable and friendly drivers is available when you want it. Highly recommended. Good place to stay as nice and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud but with a shuttle available to drop you where you needed to go. We had half of the villa as we were a group of 7 adults, 3 kids (14, 11 and 3) and an infant. We spent quite a bit of time hanging around the villa relaxing and must commend the staff as although young they will do whatever they can to assist. I think the villa is good value for money. the staff here is really helpful and friendly, the breakfast is also tailor-made and you can eat as want as you can. The guys of hotel is really talkative and design of hotel is very special. We all enjoyed our stay in indigo villa and will be back again next time we come to Bali Free shuttle bus to UBud centre is also excellent. Beautifully decorated and peaceful. The staff went above and beyond their duty to make us welcome. We will be recommending indigo villas to all of our friends and will return when next in Bali. Indigo Villa's is fantastic. The building is like a big house with a living room and a open kitchen. Very homey. The honeymoon suit is also pretty amazing. Highly recommended!. If two bedroom have each A/C is better than this (not proper for big room (1 big/1 small). That will good and more be relaxing when arrived from trip for whole day. The relaxed atmosphere, the rustic feel of the villa, the free transport to Ubud central, and overall setting, overlooking rice fields. A beautiful venue. Helpful finding us drivers to the airport. the flower decorate for honeymoon is warm. There is a pool, but more a plunge pool than a swimming pool. The Wifi Internet connection was also not really functional when we were there. Its a bit far away to walk anywhere but I don't think this is an issue given the drivers are available. A little bit far from UBud centre, but there is free shuttle bus. That the air-con did not work in one of the rooms and was not fixed. 2 of the recessed lights had blown and not replaced. The hot water ran out on the second day so cold showers all round. Fortunately the weather was hot and sunny. We did not want to get bitten by mosquitoes so all windows and doors were shut at night which meant a hot stuffy room even though the ceiling fan worked. Shower gel/soap not provided. Although liquid hand detergent was. There is only a small pool. Nothing!. Not in the center of Ubud. Small minus for the location requiring using their free shuttle service, but the drivers are all nice. My wife loved the place, we would happily go back. I twas too far away from the centre of Ubud but that was probably only because the road was under construction and it took ages to get there. The 'pool' was unswimmable and the noise of the water pump was unbearable at night but Swastika arranged to have it turned off between 12 and 5am. They also have to signs to indicate the name of the villa. Floors could be cleaner, hot water is a hit and miss. didn't clean pool. The bathroom was a bit below the expected standard / drains were smelly. The pool wasn't great and didn't look that clean. The WIFI of the hotel. The shuttle bus is convenience for us to go other places or back to the hotel but need to wait for a long time. Pool is very small (4 x 4 m) poor quality of the building (windows and some doors didn't shut well) when it rained, bathroom and entry of our room were under water (2 bdr app., 2Nd floor) and no staff member cared or wiped it no toileteries in the room poor service quality except of the manager. Cold showers. Too far from restaurants etc. The location is quite far from Ubud centre, although there is free shuttle. TOO QUIET, I'm a little bit scare at night, since the staff will leave at 9:30pm, it seems everything is on your own. And no lock at our villa. Our room wasn't available so we were "upgraded" to a different address, that didn't feel safe for two females alone. The change also took ages due to lack of communication between staff. Wifi did not work at either place. If you pay by visa card, you should pay at Indigo Tree hotel (Indigo villa is belong to Indigo Tree hotel, which is also very remote) and pay extra 3% (it does not tell on the website), it is very terrible. It is far away to walk anywhere.The staff at the hotel has severe problems with English. There are no services after 10 pm. The pool is very small (2x3 m2).
