The hotel itself is very nice, clean and calm, although it is situated in 100 m of Monkey forest str. There is cute garden with arbour and small pools with fish. If you have a room on the first floor you can have a breakfast and spend evening time on the terrace with table and couch. On the table is always a thermos with hot water, cups, tea and coffee. Also you can rent a motorbike in the hotel for ordinary price. In the room there are no insects, no noise from the street and from the neighbor. όλα τα σχόλια »
Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The owners are simply fantastic, caring, super nice, always ready to help. They serve the breakfast on the front porch of your room and it's simply delicious! Al day long and night you have tea and coffee available. It is in the center of Ubud though far enough from noise and confusion. The garden is full of shadow and from time to time you can encounter an exotic bird or a squirrel. Strongly recommended! Thank you very much for making sure our stay in Ubud wa.
Very big nice room with excellent AC, a nice big balcony overlooking rice fields. Excellent breakfast served on the balcony and a carafe refilled with hot water throughout the day for coffee or tea (provided) - this is a nice touch! Very friendly staff (Wayan answered all of our questions and Madi makes great omelets and banana and coconut pancakes!). It's located just off Monkey Forest Road within walking distance of everything in Ubud. We would happily stay at Gerhana Sari 2 again!.
This was the ideal place to stay in Ubud. In the center, but very quiet in a nice garden. Staff is very friendly and helpfull. The room is spacious, with your own terras where you have coffee and thee all day. Good bathroom, nice breakfast.
Next to Gherana Sari you can have a very good dinner at Pissari Bali with a terras overviewing ricefields.
The owners were really friendly and kind (eg. since my plane arrived late in the evening the owners waited for me in front of the bungalow entrance so I could recognize it easily) . Location is excellent, 10 minutes walking from the monkey forest and ubud palace. Quality/ price rate is perfect. I would completely return back to this place.
We first stayed in the bungalow without air conditioning and then moved to a room with air conditioning. Both rooms were lovely and very clean. Special highlight is the private terasse of every room,equipped with a sofa,table and tea and coffee all day long. The breakfast is served directly there in your own little space:-).
We stayed at theses premises for four nights and really didn't wish to depart. We were welcomed by a very friendly face, who already knew our names and was keen to show us to our room. The service that we received was superb and was fantastic value for money. We have already recommend the premises to our family and friends.
it is very clean and comfortable. In particular, we were very pleased with the friendliness and service. Private terrace with a cool wind and the sound of frogs at night is beautiful. Satisfied with the hotel and would go back in ubud, will also stay on gerhana sari2.

bungalows are set in a garde within the city with ponds and nice natural surroundings. really peacefull, despite the central location of our accomodation.
the owners are nice and caring.coffee ,tea and hot water provided whole day,we can enjoy the bali coffee anytime .Morning they served the breakfast on front porch of the room,so we not need to went out looking for a breakfast.
The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They even have cheap motorbike for rent to get around town. Location is in the center of ubud, but in small alley, so it is quite from traffic. The garden is very lovely.

It was a pleasure to stay at Gerhana Sari 2. They took great care of us for the whole stay and were always very helpfull. It is located in the very centre which makes it perfect location for discovering Ubud.
The staff were amazing. The best I have come across in a while. The location is superb as it's very central. The rooms were spotless and have a variety of options for the budget traveller upwards.

If there was anything to improve, then I would say that the enterence to the premises could do with improvement by way of a bigger and better sign, plus a little more lighting up the walkway. But these are minor elements.

Mosiquitos at night, would be good to have mositquito net for the bed. We can hear animals at night, some small animals was running on top of our rooft. But I guess that is hard to avoid.
