  The hotel is a hidden gem in Medan city. It is in the center of everything (great to start your trip in Sumatra), but when you are at the hotel you cannot feel you are in the city. The design takes care of that. And being located above the shopping center and on top floors only help to escape the noise of the city, so don't be discouraged. The room was nice and clean and we loved the movie channel. Also, it was nice to see Medan from up there. Next to that, the swimming pool was lovely, however, I think it was not really normal for westerners to be there and just go and swim in western swimwear: bikini.
