The Island, Bali had lovely rooms and really good storage facilities in the room. The pool area looked lovely and the staff were all really friendly. Breakfast was good but that's the only food we ate there. Really easy 15min walk to the beach. A nice atmosphere with lots of other young backpackers. A good bar area to socialise and also a nice pool to relax in during the day. Quite good location, a 10 min walk to the beach and a 20 min walk to the main nightspot for drinking.
όλα τα σχόλια » The Island Hotel was very chill and relaxing. It was full of backpackers. The room was clean and comfortable. They give a free massage with the rooms though I didn't have time to use it. Breakfast was medicore, nothing fancy. Our room was lovely, it was cleaned every day which was great. The reception was very helpful in booking trips/ surfing lessons for us. The food and drink is really good and great value for money. Best place to go to for a solo traveller. I really enjoyed my stay there and met awesome people. The Hostel is more like a hotel with an awesome backpacking vibe. Thanks for the great time. Breakfast is amazing. Bed is ok, there is airco so thats a plus. They are friendly, i defenitly would recommend it to start ur trip in Bali. I met some cool people!!. Very nice dorm, even if there are 10 beds by room you feel it's only yours! Very nice pool, and breakfast & snacks fresh Free wifi. The island was the best place to meet other people! A nice and warm atmosphere :) And having a pool in a hostel is another plus!. aircon in the dorm, pool, great atmosphere, delicious breakfast, nice roof-terrace. Great food and atmosphere. Rooms were very clean and staff were great!. nice atmoshphere it's my second time in this hotel. It was a really good place to stay with my boyfriend and a friend of him because you can choose between sharing rooms or individual. I would say that it's a place for people between 20 and 30 years old. I met really awesome people. The place was really good, loved the restaurants food and the pool. The opportunity to meet other travelers and the staffs are awesome. They have got a swimming pool, free W-Lan and a nice Lobby. The bar did shut quite early (around 9pm) but it wasn't too much of an inconvenience. Was about a 10 minute walk from the beach. Our air conditioner was broken and dripped causing the floor to get flooded. Showers and toilet can be cleaner. For Western people its important to have clean facilities, otherwise we get sick from bacteria. No bar open in the evening. Just a little remark: The staff at the reception was great and gave me the feeling of a warm welcome, but it would be great if the staff at the bar would improve their behaviour to be friendly all the time even if it is late at night or early in the morning. really loud when drunk people come "home", stuff could be more friendly, wifi is not constant - sometimes couldn't access. They advertise a 24 hour reception for late check in but this is untrue. It is not close to nice beaches. Seminyak-Legian-Kuta beaches are quite ugly, although good enough if you want surfing. The Staff (at breakfast) was unfriendly. The breakfast (included) was very bad. Only a toast and honey. My Aircon was broken. It is a nice place, but the price was too high.
