A rather rustic place. Staff were friendly, always smiling. The villa is not at the town centre (which is good because the town can get noisy at night),it is slightly further in and takes about 20 minutes to get there by foot. Loved the villa, the privacy and the peace and quiet. Ten minutes walk or cycle from the bars and restaurants, yet everything was available to you if you just wanted to stay home, and the villa was more than inviting for you to do just that. We stayed here in the last week of our two week trip (Bali first) and we really wished we had had our two weeks at Les Villas Ottalia. We will definitely be back.

The really like the localization in front of the beach and that you don´t need the key to open the room door. In fact, the guest can open the open the door using their fingers. It really great. Super nice hotel, great location, helpful and super friendly staff! No pool but the beach is right across from the hotel. The restaurant Mawar next to Good Heart is the best place to eat, all we had was superb. I would recommend Good Heart to everyone going to Trawangan!

We were at first put into accommodation known as a Lumbung these are cramped, dark and tiny with almost a ladder going from upper bedroom to the outdoor downstairs bathroom which is very steep. They are kind of a traditional Indo style place my friend and I decided this was not for us and asked to change the staff were most amenable and put us into a fab newer room one level with gorgeous outdoor bathroom. It seems there are two distinct parts to Vila Ombek two pools etc the Pearl of Trewangan

This accommodation was ideal, restaurant on the beach, at high tide the waves lapped at our feet. A experience not possible at any other beach front resort I have been before. The resort was very close to the action and party area of the island, but far enough away to be very quite and relaxing. We didn't need to leave the resort if didn't want to

We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa which is large, nicely laid out and well
fitted out. Great if you want a private base for your activities but it
isn't a communal style resort, you'll barely see other guests
when you're there. The included breakfast at the Restaurant was the
best we had in Indonesia, very good. Note the letsbookhotel.com map location
is wrong, the resort is actually 1 km south of the main wharf.

The Hotel is located within approx. 10 mins walk from the main place. The rooms are big and clean. The spa is small, but the massages have been relaxing and professional. This resort is at the top of the island which while is about a 20 min walk into the town which is very dark at night ( take a torch), it does have the best snorkelling spot from the beach outside the hotel. We initially booked 2 nights but liked it so much we booked 2 additional nights. The staff is really nice, breakfast delicious, 4-5pm there is tea time with a delicious snack, the pool was great, beach also. Free beach beds, bikes to drive to the center and free towels. We loved the fact that is was a 5-10 min bike ride to the 'center', where all restaurants are. Tip for a good Italian place is Blu d'mare and a little bit more expensive but also great is Ko-Ko-Mo.

Great design for family or multiple couples, very handy to all activities and needs on Gili. Well looked after by the attentive and friendly staff. Spacious and modern feel with large central lounge set by the pool as well as 3 large bedrooms. Highly recommended. -
