A 200-metre walk to Sama-sama Beach in Gili Trawangan, Villa Rumah Kayu enjoys a quiet surrounding amidst the tropical garden. It is a 15-minute drive to the turtle conservation in Kura-Kura Beach. It is a 2.5-hour from Lombok International Airport or Lombok Harbour, and a 20-minute boat ride from Lombok Harbour to Gili Trawangan Harbour. Guests can arrange airport transfers as well as bicycle rentals through the assistance of the villa staff. Snorkelling, spa and massage can also be arranged with a surcharge. Kelapa Restaurant serves daily breakfast, Lombok traditional dishes are also served among the Indonesian cuisines.

Beautiful rooms, we stayed in the delux suite on top which had lots of space and was excellent value for money. I don't know what the other rooms looked like. Clean, breakfast in room, nice dipping pool and ability to rent bikes for a cheap price as far as the Island goes to get into town. The bungalows were beautiful and the staff very friendly. The grounds were asbolutely spotless, all day the staff spend sweeping and cleaning to keep it looking tip top. The pool was clean and the breaskfast good.

Staff were excellent and the rooms were lovely. The pool was great too - and we usually had it to ourselves. The staff was helpful and accommodating - we felt at home. The pool was relaxing. Great location Friendly staff Clean. - bike rent in the hotel (but not free) - bathroom was outside, this has a certain charm - rooms were clean and cool. nice pool. could do with more loungers round it. High Potential for a good start-up!. It was a bit far away from the strip so you have to either cycle or be prepared for at least a 20 minute walk to get to the other end of the strip. Bikes are a reasonable price though. It is near a mosque as well - all of the northern part of the strip is near one - with a call to prayer at 4am every morning, also a lot of farm animals near by. But in some other hotels you can be woken by people at all times so it is not too bad. room got quite hot i afternoon as the aircon was not quite powerful enough to keep the room cool, but this was not a problem as we were never there in the afternoon and the aircon worked well at night once the sun went down. farther walk from the beach then the rest of the hotels but the island is small enough that it didnt matter. (7 min walk to the beach) not bad. We were travelling as a group of young girls and as the hotel is a bit far from the main beach it was a bit daunting walking home in the dark for 10 mins or so. However - would be a great place for a family or if you wanted to get to a really quiet area. The rooms were small. They could speak a little better english. Breakfast could have had a bit more choice. - it is a little bit further away from the beach, but this way you don't hear any noice from the bars - Pool is rather small. - wifi is poor. bit far away from everything. overpriced i'd say. breakfast was average for the price. I would nevere suggest Villa Rumah Kayu. I booked a room 2 months in advance through letsbookhotel.com and they give away all availibilities without mentioning it. Fortunately, I called the day before the arrival, when I got to know my reservation was not kept in consideration in spite of booking confirmation, and I arrived prepared to Gili T. Moreover, the owner is unfriendly, rude and creepy. I warmly discourage to book your Holiday with them and advice letsbookhotel.com to better monitor hot.
