Everything! From the moment we arrived to the second we left, we were treated like royalty. The staff is incredibly nice, the resort is beautiful. We stayed at the Monsoon Jungle Resort but went to the beach everyday. It's not your typical "beach" but it is very secluded and probably one of the only places in Bali where you are not surrounded by tourists. There is a lot to do and the hotel arranges everything and is also aware of your plans for the day so they can accommodate you. The two resta.

The Menjangan is in the middle of the forest and very attractive if you like nature and the wild life. Also a very good place to stay if you like diving. We stayed for 2 days and booked for 4days. After we told the staff that we would leave, the didn't charge us the other 2 days we booked. That's super service. Snorkelling at Menjangan Island, massage under the mangroves, cocktails and delicious meals on the deck over the sea, watching the animals and birds, joining highly knowledgeable Putu for walks round the park, the friendly and super-efficient service. Best location, good staff they do everything what they must do perfect, good food specialy for b'fast. High recommended for honeymoon and family retreat...... * Great activities list (snorkeling, massage, etc.) * Nature -- the hotel is inside a park; you get to see animals, relax walking in the forest. * Nice rooms. Quiet location Beatiful rooms Excellent breakfasts. manager, staff were great. location was great. Nothing!. The boat trip. We booked for 4 days at the Menjangan, but only stayed for 2 days. We hardly slepped because of a 40 cm gekko inside the room above our bed. There were also lots of big spiders and other bugs around. We weren't the right people at the right place... Nothing. We find some bin in the mangrove beach. * The fact that the diving was cancelled the last minute * Staff could speak better English. The places to swim are full of coral and fishes, this can be a bit dangerous as one can´t always know what it is stepping on. Since it was low season they had closed the Bali tower for dinner. Which is not a problem, as there is a nice beach restaurant. But the beach restaurant is in open air only. So when it rains you will have to eat at the bar or in your room. which is not a problem for one night but for multiple rainy evenings it is not ideal. The Manager told us that they are looking at a covered extension of the bar area.

Important information to guests

Please note that adhering to the latest regulation issued by the Indonesian Forestry Ministry, all visitors to the West Bali National Park are required to pay entrance fees. The authorities are processing the appointment of the National Park's representative, so for the time being the property has been entrusted to collect the fees and present the entrance tickets. The tickets will give access to all the National Park area and Menjangan Island, so guests can freely enjoy trekking, bird watching, snorkelling, etc. The fees will be charged to the room's account and payment can be made upon check-out. Please contact the property directly for more information on the entrance fees and access.

Set in Banyuwedang, 49 km from Lovina, The Menjangan features an outdoor pool and a private beach area. The resort has a barbecue and views of the sea, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant.
