We checked in really late which was not a problem. we we dead tired and found the most comfortable beds I have ever had in a hotel.
The pace was peaceful and quiet, which was great since we were traveling with our 2 young children, 3 years old and 2 months old.
Breakfast the next morning was very nice.
Will definitely stay here again!

The exterior is deceivingly run-down. Rooms and bathrooms are super
clean, comfy, and roomy! The shared-bathroom thing is not a big deal
since there's one bathroom per floor, and not many rooms per floor.

The kitchen areas are great. The whole facility is very clean, has good
lighting, is heated well and the breakfast offered is very good. One
member of the staff ( I don't recall his name, but it starts with
the letter j and he's from Sweeden) was exceptionally helpful to

Very nice facilities. The staff helped us to book the bus to go to airport. We had our own room and they have kitchen for cooking.
In the camping site there is place for taking things that people left before returning to their countries or leave the things that you cannot carry back.

The staff were all incredibly nice and helpful, and they make you feel right at home. The facilities were great too (fully-equipped kitchen, hot showers with tub, and free laundry facilities). The bathrooms aren't gorgeous, but they are charming and everything works quite well.

The staff are really nice! They briefly explained where to go near the
guesthouse and in the city center when I first arrived. They clean the
house frequently so it's clean and tidy. They are keen to provide
some local tips like music and the local stores. Generally, I think if
you travel alone and don't want to cram into a 16-bed dorm, it's
a good place to stay with abundant space and good host to talk with.

the two staff members worked there socks off to keep all guesrs happy - The staff was extremely helpful in having the room ready at early arrival (arriving with a 3-year old child after a night flight made really all the difference!), providing us with information, and making taxi reservation for us. If I ever go to Iceland, I will stay there again. It is such a nice and warm hostel and it is highly recommended. -
It was so clean, and you didn't check in, you got an email telling
you how to get into the hostel / your room. I arrived at 2 am and
went right in and went to sleep. It is nicely decorated and so many
things to read to show you what to do. The owner called a bus for me to
get me back to the airport and I saw her eating lunch with some guests -
she is very nice. I felt very safe.
