  The staff was superb! The desk personnel were extremely knowledgeable and helpful regarding the sites to visit, excursions to take and places to eat. The cleaning staff was diligent in getting your room clean and tidy yet left personal items as you left them. The hotel was conveniently located in the heart of the city and a perfect walk to almost... τι λέει ο κόσμος » every point of interest. - The rooms were very funky but cosy. The location was perfect, 2 mins walk to the nearest bars and restaurants. The breakfast was simple but adequate and we also got breakfast at 5.30am before we headed to the airport on our last morning. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here on a return visit.

  Excellent location, great harbour view, very clean room and the bed was huge! Didn't try the restaurant but the bar service was good and the bar area was very nice and relaxing. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. - Atmosphere, people - nothing too much trouble, central location - overall great

  EVERYTHING.....the staff was way cool, the place itself was great and in a great location,,,,,,exspecially with the cool big skull out front, it is the perfect land mark and got me home many a night...Breakfast was ok, the coffee was wonderful...the more I think about it ,I have no real complaints about the place and if I ever get the chance to go... τι λέει ο κόσμος » to Iceland again will stay there.......and I will be recommending the Backpackers to all my friends and to anybody I know going to Iceland..... Thank - The staff was knowledgeable about the local surroundings and very friendly The facilities were kept clean and tidy The location in the heart of downtown made it very easy to get around All of the people I shared a room with during my stay were respectful of each other's personal belongings and sleep schedules
