Set a 17-minute drive from Selfoss village, these modern cottages include a private kitchen, furnished terrace and a seating area with TV and DVD player. The world famous Geysir is a 30-minute drive away. All units at Minniborgir Cottages have thermal heating and include a private bathroom with shower. Some include a spa bath. Guests can relax in the on-site hot tubs or on the sun terrace. A playground is available for children, while a laundry room is found in the service house. Horseback riding trips and day tours can also be arranged on site. The on-site restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner all-year round. Laugarvatn village is 18 km from Minniborgir.

A lovely compact cottage just perfect for our first few nights in Iceland. We were ableto access the sights around the Golden Cirlce from here. If we had stayed for longer it would have been a good base for further walks in the area. very clean and comfortable accomodation. Lovely bathroom and shower. Towels provided. Could not have asked for more!. The facilities are really good, we have a hot tub ourselves and kitchen is really fully equipped, the environment is comfortable and cozy . The location is really good too! Close to geysir, gullfoss, kerid and thingvellir national park.

Warm, comfortable and very well equipped accommodation. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location for travel around southern Iceland. Very good value for money. Highly recommended!. Nice cottages, had everything needed in the kitchen. Clean and in good shape. I put that I would recommend it, but with a caveat. Please note the check in problem. excellent facilities very relaxed really good value for money staff were very helpful really enjoyed the outdoor hot tub brilliant location with beautiful scenery. We had a lovely stay. I would thoroughly recommend to anyone and hope to return again so we can explore more of Iceland!. Location and it was very clean!. location, hot tub, facilities. Towels were provided and there was a fully stocked kitchen. Nothing!. -nearest restaurant at 20 kilometres distance (owner is considering to built an in-house restaurant, but these plans are not confirmed, yet). Just that our stay came to an end! :). Be aware, if you do not have a phone with you, there could be a problem. We arrived during the check-in hours listed, but nobody was there. There is a number to call, but w/o a phone, we were out of luck until he happened to show up--1 hr+ of waiting around. Fortunately, we did not have this problem anywhere else we stayed. nothing bad to say. Nothing. Every thing was perfect. Wifi didn't work, however we were not charged for it as a result. nothing. Must have a car to go around. wifi connection is not well inside the cottage. Pillows were terrible!! Please change them !! Also please more information on arrival would be good. Never once saw a member of staff. Not everyone carries a mobile phone with them on a holiday. The door to my cottage could not be locked. The cottage was not very clean The upper bunk was too small.
