I can't recall staying in a better city centre hotel than this and all at a very reasonable price. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble for them. We loved everything about the hotel.We upgraded our room and stayed in a wonderful junior suite on the fifth floor.It was quiet,clean,big and the bathroom had a walk in shower and a jacuzzi.Plenty of closet space and a great bed.The staff was polite and very helpful.They spoke excellent English.They booked restaurants,massages and ordered taxis.I would defenitely recommend this hotel to all my friends.We also liked its situation,district 8.we walked everywhere.Good job!!!

Location is good: subway station, tram station in front of the hotel. Currency exchange office at the corner. Location is good (close to subway and railway station as well as to the main attractions and sightseeing routs), staff is also not bad, but we've got wrong tip on how to get to the funicular and were advised to buy tickets for hop-on/hop-off bus, but with no mentioning of the fact that price in hotel is higher than regular (and it's really weird even for Budapest). I loved everything about the Opera Gardens Hotel. Very friendly staff.
Rooftop terrace was lovely to relax in after a day's sightseeing, and there was an honesty bar, so you could enjoy a beer or glass of wine and the rooftop view.
Sangria each evening in the hotel lobby for you to grab a glass on your way back up to your room.
Rooms were lovely and spacious.
Staff happy to assist in booking taxis/tickets to the Szechenyi baths & other attractions.

Loved the hotel, clean, warm, friendly, excellent value for money, sort walk up the oppisite road takes you to the metro, where you buy a 24 hour ticket for little money, this allows you to use the tram, metro and buses all day, brilliant. A great hotel to see Budapest. Whether you are with friends or family, the metro is only 5 minutes away. And being just a bit out of the city centre guarantees you a good night sleep. Breakfast is very good. The free bubbles, that little extra touch. We would definitely come back.

I really liked this new, fresh and modern appartment! It was well equipped with all the kitchen stuff as well as a CD-player, DVD-player, washing machine, dishwasher, a bathroom with a bathtub as well as nice, modern, adequate furniture and comfortable beds. There was a balcony in the courtyard and there were even some DVD-films that you could use. Είναι ένα καταπληκτικό μοντέρνο ξενοδοχείο κάτω από το κάστρο και δίπλα στον Δούναβη.
Το δωμάτιο ήταν 30τετραγωνικα ,πεντακάθαρο ,ήσυχο και άνετο.
Το πρωινό ήταν καταπληκτικό Και μέχρι τις 11.00. ότι ζητήσαμε από το προσωπικό αμέσως μας εξυπηρέτησαν. Το μετρο είναι 5 λεπτά με τα πόδια και στάση λεοφωρείου έχει ακριβώς από πίσω. - Βρισκεται πολυ κο
