Location is good: subway station, tram station in front of the hotel. Currency exchange office at the corner. Location is good (close to subway and railway station as well as to the main attractions and sightseeing routs), staff is also not bad, but we've got wrong tip on how to get to the funicular and were advised to buy tickets for hop-on/hop-off bus, but with no mentioning of the fact that price in hotel is higher than regular (and it's really weird even for Budapest). The hotel is located very conveniently in the heart of budapest with access to metro, bus and tram right outside the door.
The rooms are comfortable, spacious and clean. We stayed in a superior room which comes with a huge balcony and provides a beautiful view of the adjacent streets and buildings. And the room itself was beautiful!

Judit, who checked me in, was very generous with city information, suggestions and directions. She should be commended. The staff in general are all attentive and client oriented. The breakfast buffet is quite extensive and tasty. - It was fabulous! We really enjoyed ourseves. The hotel is really stylish.

The hotel was very elegant and well presented with a very impressive lobby.
The concierge service was excellent, helped us book tickets for a boat cruise and recommended a restaurant that was excellent.

Excellent staff, exceptionally clean and stylish hotel, great facilities, especially the Wellness pools and saunas which were a godsend at the end of a hot day city walking. We could not fault this hotel and will be sure to try and stay here when we visit this wonderful city again. We have already told all our friends how good Continental Hotel Zara was!

Facilities includes sauna, indoor swimming pool and jacuzi.These can make you relaxed after long-hour walks.I strongly recommend this hotel.

Gorgeous, spacious studio, right in the heart of the city. Step out and you're straight into a square full of restaurants shaded by trees. A short walk to the river. Amazingly quiet, considering you're so close to the restaurants.

Great apartment, exelent location, well equipped with fantastic facilities. Everything you could possibly need for a short break, or longer. Lots of great bars and restaurants in close proximity, able to walk to all the major sights from the apartment. It was no more than a few minutes walk to the major transport links. Exceptionally good value for money and one of the nicest apartments we have stayed in on a city break. Recommend!

Perfect for a family of six. We were traveling with grandparents and two
children. 1 and 1/2 baths, two bedrooms with double beds, and a
living room. Very nice kitchen. The apartment was nicely prepared for
us, with living room fold out couch already prepared for our children.

Loved the hotel, clean, warm, friendly, excellent value for money, sort walk up the oppisite road takes you to the metro, where you buy a 24 hour ticket for little money, this allows you to use the tram, metro and buses all day, brilliant.
