Makis Place was a great find. It's a family-run place. They are very friendly and accommodating. Our mid-morning arrival was not a problem. When we left we were going to walk to Nee Port - they were very willing to drive us in the vanThey always greeted you with a smile.

First we liked the surprise of going around the corner, seeing Makis Place the first time and being delighted with how charming and lovely the hotel is. It's 10 walking to a fine beach and the pool charms you into staying there. The family staff members are all, yes, all delightful as well. The owners are incredibly friendly, really going out of their way to help us out with lifts and information, above and beyond the call of duty in my view.
The location is stunning, the apartments are arranged up the cliff face with an amazing view across the new port at Tourlos.

Everything was perfect. Demetri is a great host, super attentive and helpful. He showed us around and offered us a ride to Mykonos and the port when we needed to.

This hotel has an amazing view over the port and the sea and you can watch beautiful sunset. As we were leaving from the new port next day, the location was perfect. Staff and hospitality is amazing. Dimitris picked us up day before, and dropped us of at 7:30 am at the port. Prepared delicious breakfast at 7am in the morning. The rooms are very nice, clean and beautiful. We loved everything about the hotel.

The hosts are just wonderful.... both Vasilis n his Mum, who even bought me down a home cooked meal after getting in late from a flight,were very accomadating.. He even met me at the metro which helps when you are new in a city. I loved the old Greek charm of the apartment too.....all in all..a great stay with the Doc.....thank you both...Susan
