The property is beautifully maintained with lovely gardens and the pool
areas, bar and restaurant are adjacent to the sea with great views of
the area. It is well located to supermarkets and other restaurants and
is either a short car or bus ride to the main centre of Chania. With the

The whole trip was just lovely and I wouldn't have changed a thing. My previously holiday-shy boyfriend loved everything about the holiday and especially the restaurant (Corinne Star) in the grounds of the hotel. It was the best of the restaurants we tried in both Kalamaki and Chania. The staff were very hard-working, warm and helpful. The beachside setting was beautiful, westward facing so you can enjoy the sunset while eating dinner at the poolside. Really hoping we can come back soon :)

Very attractive hotel/apartment block located midway between town and the beach, so quiet and yet convenient. Nice pool (though surprisingly cold after a long, hot summer) and outdoor breakfast/lunch area. Staff very friendly and helpful - they even upgraded us to a 2 bed apartment overlooking the pool at no extra cost - because it was available!

Socrates is a lovely hotel. Very friendly owners, Eva and George.
Absolutely perfect pool area, with comfortable sunbeds and a wonderful
garden. We got clean towels every day and the room was perfectly
cleaned. It was about 200 m to the bus stop (32) to Hersonissos and to
the beach 200-250 M. The hotel is perfectly situated in the countryside
quiet yet central. I would definitely go back. And the transfer service

Arrived at 8:30pm and was greeted by the hotel owner, Mary, who offered us dinner. One could not ask for a more genuine and caring hotel owner. Hotel is set in an ideal location with both mountain and Souda Bay views. Only a 20 minute drive to Chania, 25 minutes to Limnopoulis water park, and an hour from the beautiful beaches in western Crete.

We want to commend the hotel.
Hospitality was wonderful, the hotel staff was wonderful and welcoming. As we arrived nighttime meal. To warm attitude we received during our stay.
And is close to the beautiful beaches and the city of Chania.
In addition, anyone interested in seeing the West Crete, is an excellent place to stay and exit west.
Strongly recommend...

The service of throughout this hotel is excellent. Fromt he moement youa rrive until the moment you leave, everyone is friendly and accomodating for all needs. The rooms, pool and restaurant are all very clean (and I am very picky when it comes to cleanliness)! We would recommend this highly and would glady make a return visit for a longer period

Clean, very friendly staff. We didn't get the bracelet for all inclusive which makes you feel more comfortable, instead the staff is trying to know better their guests having a friendly and relaxed communication with all of them. Quit during the night, so you could sleep well. Good food, tasty food.

The hotel is an ideal spot for people who like busy places but want to sleep in peace and quiet. It’s a few steps from the busiest street I have seen in Crete. The beach is near, but quite narrow and full of bars a restaurants and sun beds. If you want a nice and emptier beach, you must walk much further or use a car, e.g. to Malia beach. . The tw

Everything was beyond our expectations . Theodore who works on the late shift is brilliant . Full of knowledge and so helpful . Location is on a side street which is quiet but only 50 meters from everything you could possibly need which is on time main road . Facilities brilliant too . If your booking your holiday independently then book your transfers from and to airport via Resort Hoppa . For the two of us , it only cost £20 return . That's right ! £5 each way per person . A good suite of rooms, with living room/kitchen, bedroom & shower room. Two balconies, one with a fine view to sea & over the pool (which is well sited). Close to the beach & beach bars, but not on top of them.

We only had 1 night at the hotel which of course was not enough! Fantastic location, great pool (especially with kids section), a small playground, and within just a minutes walk of the beach. Loved the destination as well, a great surprise as the beach is terrific for kids, and lots of great restaurants line the boardwalk (which is car free). Perfect destination for families.

Everything was perfect - Μια εκπληκτική μικρή τουριστική μονάδα με απόλυτη ησυχία και ιδανικό για ανθρώπους που θέλουν να ηρεμήσουν. Οι εγκαταστάσεις είναι άψογες και το προσωπικό ιδιαίτερα φιλικό. Nice resort, very comfortable with children, many different pools, beaches, playgrounds, activities for kids. Friendly staff, nice gardens. Water park next to the resort was good. -
I liked the all inclusive and food and drinks were lovely. Plenty of pools to choose from and loads of water slides to slide on all day long!

Very friendly family-run establishment. Owner Manolos was very friendly and helpful. Food in Taverna Kastro was of excellent quality. Especially liked Manolos's 'special local wine' of which he gave me a bottle to bring home. Would definitely consider staying here again should we return to Panormos. -
