The whole trip was just lovely and I wouldn't have changed a thing. My previously holiday-shy boyfriend loved everything about the holiday and especially the restaurant (Corinne Star) in the grounds of the hotel. It was the best of the restaurants we tried in both Kalamaki and Chania. The staff were very hard-working, warm and helpful. The beachside setting was beautiful, westward facing so you can enjoy the sunset while eating dinner at the poolside. Really hoping we can come back soon :)

The location is fantastic, at the end of the road in Falasarna close to lovely beach and also 2 km walk from 'Big Beach ' if you want to go there. You can also walk to Ancient Falassarna through the olive groves and this is worth a visit. the bus to Chania and Kastelli-Kissamos goes from outside the hotel.

Very attractive hotel/apartment block located midway between town and the beach, so quiet and yet convenient. Nice pool (though surprisingly cold after a long, hot summer) and outdoor breakfast/lunch area. Staff very friendly and helpful - they even upgraded us to a 2 bed apartment overlooking the pool at no extra cost - because it was available!

Socrates is a lovely hotel. Very friendly owners, Eva and George.
Absolutely perfect pool area, with comfortable sunbeds and a wonderful
garden. We got clean towels every day and the room was perfectly
cleaned. It was about 200 m to the bus stop (32) to Hersonissos and to
the beach 200-250 M. The hotel is perfectly situated in the countryside
quiet yet central. I would definitely go back. And the transfer service

The location is perfect for both relax and being close to the city. We arrived late morning because had missed the night flight and a very friendly lady gave us a fresh and rich breakfast, smilng and welcoming us warmly.

The staff were fantastic, very friendly but still professional. The breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent, large choice of foods of good quality, something for everyone. The lobby, pool area, beach and grounds were beautiful and very well tended. -

Arrived at 8:30pm and was greeted by the hotel owner, Mary, who offered us dinner. One could not ask for a more genuine and caring hotel owner. Hotel is set in an ideal location with both mountain and Souda Bay views. Only a 20 minute drive to Chania, 25 minutes to Limnopoulis water park, and an hour from the beautiful beaches in western Crete.

We want to commend the hotel.
Hospitality was wonderful, the hotel staff was wonderful and welcoming. As we arrived nighttime meal. To warm attitude we received during our stay.
And is close to the beautiful beaches and the city of Chania.
In addition, anyone interested in seeing the West Crete, is an excellent place to stay and exit west.

This is a family run hotel and they are quite new having been here only 4 months. They are a very nice family. The hotel is very comfortable with a nice pool and short walk to the beach. Out of the hustle of the main town and port but just a 1.1 Euro bus or 10 Euro taxi. The breakfast was excellent. I would reccomend the Oasis as a place to stay

Everything was beyond our expectations . Theodore who works on the late shift is brilliant . Full of knowledge and so helpful . Location is on a side street which is quiet but only 50 meters from everything you could possibly need which is on time main road . Facilities brilliant too . If your booking your holiday independently then book your transfers from and to airport via Resort Hoppa . For the two of us , it only cost £20 return . That's right ! £5 each way per person .
