  Stunningly beautiful white sugar cube type buildings which housed the appartments were large and immaculately clean and maintained.   We only had a few hours at this hotel as our other hotel Kavos Beach Apartments could not provide facilities for a late check out, so we had to find another hotel near by at 8.30am just until 5pm when we headed for the airport. The welcome was marvellous, a glass of home made lemon juice and a chat with the owner. Wonderful owners, great hospitality. Discrete, but always ready to help. Felt like at home. Small resort, 10 well-equipped apartments with terraces. Great views on the sea and mountains. They let me check in early and because it was towards the end of the season they upgraded my room from a double to a quadrouple. You can book excursions around crete through the hotel. I booked a hike to Samaria Gorge, the old man at reception woke up and made me breakfast before the hike. It's also right on the town beach and 10 minute walk to the old part of Chania.
