Loved the location. A stone's throw from the River Rhein but really peaceful with virtually no through-traffic of either cars or people. Extremely central and so many choices of places to eat and drink. We found the best places when turning right out of the apartment and then left at the top of the road, rather than the extremely busy and noisier

was the public areas. Good area for amenities and walking, and only a
couple of minutes walk to the town (village) centre. Walks take you up
through the vineyards, high above the town and river, amazing views and
very peaceful. -

We really liked our innkeepers. They were super and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The hotel is great. The wood carvings in the breakfast room were very special as was the food. We didn't like the location at first because we had to walk up a large hill, but we found out later than the owners would have picked us up at the ship when we arrived. Note to selves: always ask the best way to get to a hotel.
